Overall very dirty compared to other hostels I have stayed in so I wouldn't stay there again. Also, the wifi is terrible even in the common area (I was only able to get on it at midnight one night because it appears only so many people can use it at a time) and you definitely won't get it in the rooms which I knew ahead of time. I have never left a bad review for a hostel but this one has been my least favorite by far.

Loved it! Friendly staff, comfy rooms, a lovely outdoor area and the gorgeous annecy just a few minutes walk away from the hostel. What more could you want?!

The garden at the back is great to hang out, staff is friendly & helpful. Could be cleaner, common areas feel a bit like a messy student house, room was comfortable but the shower was a bit dirty.

Lots of people just sitting around inside. Hard to find staff when you want them. Not so clean, so lots of flies. Good garden area to relax in.

The staff and the owners were friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of food storage space, well organized. The rooms were a good size. Bike rentals were a good price. Location was very good, close to the adorable old town and the lake. Internet was not great and only work in the common area, kitchen and living room. It did not work outside or in the bedrooms.

Great location but I must say I was disappointed with this hostel. I found it not very clean or well kept. It is pretty old so referring to it as new was a bit misleading.

I could've had a more accommodating stay if the staff were more hospitable and I had a pillow for the second night. Kitchens and rooms need a step up on cleanliness!

The staffs are helpful and very friendly. The back yard is a really nice place to chill out. There's no toilet in the ensuite room. And the shower room has not been cleaned at least in the two days I stayed. It smells bad. The wifi was kinda frustrating. Overall I guess it worth the price. Coz Annecy is really a wonderful place to go.

Nice staffs, but old structure - good value for money in general I suppose.

Great hostel with great staff in a close location to the old town. Only problem was the wifi didn't work during our stay so this was a little annoying. Highly recommend

This a great hostel in the alps. There's a huge garden to chill out it, great staff and a naturalistic ambiance. Really enjoyed my stay there.

A cleaner kitchen would be nice. What also would be nice is to have clearer instructions on use of the kitchen equipment present (like the dishwasher which was kind of hidden away in the second building) and garbage disposal and so on. And people need locks and keys for their in-room lockers, especially if the only type of security is the electronically locked front door (of the second building).

A very nice little French hostel. The building was a little hard to find, so be sure to have a copy of their directions handy as it is a little confusing getting there. Great atmosphere, very understanding staff, and the closest to the city you'll get without paying a fortune. The house itself is older, so although the staff kept it clean it definitely doesn't have the sanitized feel of some other hostels. The beds are clean and there are lockers for valuables.

There could have been brighter lights in the kitchen!

Great place to stay in Annecy. Local supermarket, ATM and pharmacy close by. Walking distance to transport stations, and Old Town. Bus stop close by. The backyard is lovely and it was really cute to hang my laundry up to dry. The beds were comfortable, toilets clean, showers with decent temperature and water pressure. Huge towel rental for only a euro. Highly recommended all up.

Comfort level is very low in this hostel. But worry not, the city totally makes up for it tenfolds. There's beauty in old town and in the lake areas and you can spend your time there instead of the hostel. Overall, safe place yes, but dirty. I don't really care if there's hair in showers or so but it was obvious that the showers had not been cleaned for a very very long time. Kitchen also messy and tables. Backyard is nice though, if you have big groups of people talking. Wifi only in downstairs

The cleaner walked into our room twice without knocking while we were sleeping. The front door staff were not very friendly, the inside area was dark and dingy and the rooms felt like prison cells. I liked what had been done with the outdoor area though and the kitchen was good for cooking.
