Good location 10 mins walk from the centre of this beautiful town. Everything you need is available - kitchen facilities and equipment, wifi which generally worked well, town maps, guidebooks, tv. The bathrooms in the dorms were nice but could do with some extra hooks to hang clothes and towels on while showering.

I had a great stay here, they made me feel very at home. The hostel has a great family atmosphere, helpful staff and when i arrived there was a party going on for the anniversary of the hostel opening. Definitely the best place to stay in Annecy and among one of the best hostels I have stayed in. When I was leaving they even organised a lift to the next town which was cool!

The Annecy Hostel is a genuine hostel with regard to atmosphere and facilities. It's quite modern and tidy, the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a dish washer, which is nice :) It's a very lively hostel, just like the town itself. I guess there's three groups of people hanging around here: the staf with family and friends, locals that are staying for a longer period, and travellers. As a traveller, I felt a bit as an outsider at times, but I guess I had a good time anyway.

Friendly staff, cozy little hostel, clean and spacious rooms. Not located very near to the train station but easy enough to find. 10-15 minute walk to the old town of annecy and the lake. Have shops, restaurants and supermarket nearby, quite convenient.

We were upgraded from the hostel to the hotel part of the facility due to a school group's reservation, so no complaints! The staff seemed a bit unorganized though, and the system used to work around the fact that there was only 1 key for a 4-person room, well, there didn't seem to BE much of a system, so we never knew if the room was open or not. Fun location, though a bit of a walk from the center of town. Overall good experience except that reception is closed from about 2-5 pm everyday.

I had a great time staying at this hostel. Great staff, everything clean and neat! Located in the vicinity of the old town. The only complaint I would have, would regard the \"free parking\". This basically means that you would need to look for a parking on the nearby street. The staff, however, removed their car and let me use their spot right in front of the entrance to the hostel. Overall very positive experience! Highly recommended!

Great kitchen! Fun people, although some were a little older than the people I usually see at hostels and families...

I recommend Annecy Hostel to all who like sharing a small house with a large garden in a very French familial atmosphere. If you but need to enjoy some privacy in the same time, you have better come during the sunny season and find YOUR space in the garden. I have heard the owner is willing to transform it into a paradise :-)

The hostel was located far away from the train station, so it takes approximately 10 - 15 mins to walk. When I got there, i was looking for a bright young looking place, but instead i found more of what looks like an old house. It is also about 10 minutes from the Vieux Ville. The showers were great at this hostel though, as well as their in-room lockers for your valuables. The social spaces, lounge area were small, and wifi works only on the ground floor. Toilets located outside rooms.

Fun hostel, we were all hanging out getting ready to go out together, staff and guests mingle and play games, it's great! This hostel itself is worth a trip to Annecy.
