-The hostel inside looks really nice but rundown. -My matress had a lot of cuts in it, and we got only 1 bed linen for each of us. -The most beds in our room were really noisy. you couldn't move just a bit without a noise. -The reception was quiet unfriendly and unprofessional. But just one girl of the staff seemed to be rude and unprofessional. The other ones were nice. -The Toilet paper wasn't refilled for almost 2 days. So i don't know how often they clean up. -the door codes didn't change

hostel was adequate and had some character, the beds and facilities were comfortable. But some of the staff (i.e. not all!) were miserable and rude. Also had a mix up with beds due to bad communication between staff which meant I spent one uncomfortable night on the plastic encased mattress and pillow with no sheets or pillow slips. Also, witnessed one staff member (the particularly rude one) tell off another quite menacingly in front of the guests in the courtyard. Fail!!

I don't understand the owners: They care so much about the nice courtyard and the kitchen, but cleanliness in the rooms is horrible. Blankets will not be washed after a guest checked out and the bathrooms are disgusting (and no hot water in our room). The staff is very friendly and the courtyard is nice to hang out in the evening. Breakfast is average (toast and jam) and the location is not too bad (close to the nightlife in Hindley Street). But the worst thing is, that they don't have lockers!

The hostess Raidar was awesome. She was very welcoming, relaxed and friendly. I am sure the great vibe there has a lot to do with her influence. Had a great time at Annie's Place and look forward to the next time I head Adelaide's way as I know where I will be wanting to stay.

Was generally happy with my stay here, although the place is looking a little tried its still has some charm. My main gripe is the staff who were very rude and non welcoming at all its as though they hateful working there creating an uncomfortable vibe, felt like you was on egg shells when ever they were around. They also didn't seem to have a cleaner and it showed, the bathrooms very dirty and over flowing bins. So change the staff.. and be happy

Really reasonable rates so I was happy with the stay but please put some hooks in the bedrooms - there was nowhere to easily hang a towel to dry.

Accommodation Included breakfast! Breakfast was white bread with jam, tea and instant coffee. In Australia that isn't breakfast.

it's very beautiful and clean hostel with a very helpfull staff. we had some problems with a touroperator and the staff of Annies did EVERYTHING to help us: they made phone calls and even gave us a ride. You definitely should stay there, because there is no better place!

It was a nice little hostel but no computer to go to the internet, no telephone and a dirty kitchen!
