Good for making friends but bad for sleeping well. The backyard is so noisy...every night people talking till late night...should set some rules about that otherwise people who want sleep may not get good rest

We are a couple and stayed in a room with porn all over the walls. It was DISGUSTING!! We would never go back or recommend the hostel.

Stayed there in a private room. Bathroom wasn´t cleaned before we checked in. Dirty and full of hair. The whole place isn´t really clean at all. They also have problems with Bed Bugs and many guests had bites. You can´t regulate the Aircon temp or switch it off. Staff, some friendly and helpful some not. 1 of 2 fridges was working. It´s not allowed to bring or drink own alcohol. WiFi is the public WiFi of the City . TV wasn´t working. No free pickup from train station like they say on website.

The all place was dirty from top to bottom. The kitchen was In very poor an dirty form. I was eaten alive by bed bugs, and I wasn't the only one. I'm still fighting the bed bug problem now we have left. All in all avoid like the plague, the goo times have long gone an there is better about, a lot better. A complete revamp is need urgently. Also If you want to extend your stay you are second to hostel world. That's if you'd wanna stay longer. We just had no choice

Overall I enjoyed my three nights stay at Annie's Place. I liked the lady at the reception desk in particular since she was very friendly and willing to help. However, I hope that the hostel can be maintained better, to be cleaner and tidier. Thank you!

Wifi was a bit hit and miss, pretty sure they had bed bugs the beds were unbelievably squeaky and loud and the shower and sink covered in hair. Nice outside area and quite cosy feel but the facilities are bad there was an oven but it didn't work and cockroaches in the dirty kitchen.

Stay was absolutely woeful, couldn't wait to leave the moment I arrived. A staff was rude & racist beyond words. Playing a bit of music in the backyard & kitchen at 2pm is too loud apparently.........walking around in the backyard at 8pm makes her 'nervous' for some reason......I lost a drink bottle in the backyard, won't let me look for it, instead points & yells at me aggressively: "Go, Go" in front of 10 other people. Simply DISGUSTING.

The best hostel in Australia!! Family spirit, cool atmosphere, and if you want to feel like at home, you definitely have to go to Annie's place... Fran is the funniest, the most helpful and the warmest host we've ever met. 10 min walk to tram station, to the city center, supermarket and central market. Great and cheap bar in the hostel, nice music, nice rooms, nice people... If you're searching for a place to relax in Adelaide, you have to choose it!

Although Annie's Place is one of a kind and common areas look nice, our room was nothing special. Although the service was very personal and friendly, there was a lot of hassle with our booking and payment and in the morning when the boss was not in the office, there was no one with an authority or knowledge to help us.
