Situated on the beach, we offer a real taste of the laid back beach and surfing lifestyle. We have dorm, twin and double cabins (all with very comfortable beds!) as well as fully equipped self catering flatlets (some with stunning views of the ocean) which are separate from the backpackers hostel and for those wanting more privacy. Located in a suburb 15-20 minutes drive south from the Durban city centre, Ansteys has beautiful unspoilt & protected beaches with excellent lifeguards, close to all amenities and a quick 15-20 minute drive from the city centre. For those wanting to learn how to surf, we can arrange surf lessons. On-site dive courses, beach horse rides, kitesurfing lessons are just some of the other activities on offer. Delicious home cooked meals at very reasonable rates available from time to time, restaurant on the beach, swimming pool, pool table, internet & fax facilities, TV, self catering facilities.
