Great location, exceptional staff. A public printer would be a good addition though.
Fair hostel for the money, located right by the train and tram stations. And just off the main strip, about 15 minutes to the beach... Hostel rooms were in average to poor condition, lack of lighting beds were very uncomfortable as well.
The hostel itself might have been nice, but unluckily for us, we were put in the shed out back (the dreaded room 40). This room was a sty, to put it nicely. Mold on the ceilings, dust and dirt everywhere, and the world's largest clump of hair dangling from the ceiling in the doorframe like some foul voodoo charm. The bathroom was filthy, and actually had a hole in the wall open to the outside. Stay anywhere but here; there is no wifi and I am fairly sure my pillow tried to crawl away.
Lovely place to stay short term. Don't stay here if you're claustrophobic
Internet connection was not very stable at 3rd floor.
One of the best hostels I have stayed. A lot of people. Staff is just exceptional, really friendly and helpful, always smiling and makes you fell like you are their friend right from the start :) The lounge area is great and the terrace is just awesome :) The positioning is really good and it is easy to find the way back to the hostel after night out ;) Close to the train and also tram station. Overall I would recommend it :)
Great location next to the train station and a close walk to the water and old town. Easy to meet people with free drink night and €3 spaghetti and wine night. The kitchen is half inside and half on a terrace which is very nice during good weather.
The towels were not clean enough. I saw a cockroach in the stairs. The staff was friendly. Overall impression of the hostel was disappointing. The hostel is close to the shopping street Jean Medecin which was good.
Was a nice clean dorm, the ensuite bathroom was quite large with a nice shower. Very close to the Gare with a grocery store next to it. Right off the main street with all the shops and walking distance to the beach. Very nice hostel!
This hostel is located at the very nice location, lots of common space (kitchen available for use with plenty of space), helpful staff, the only small downside would be a little bit too packed dorms, although bathroom is very spacious.
Nothing negative to say. For the price this place is legit. Location is great! The rooms are small and the bathroom smaller. One person can't help but make a mess after a shower. But again for the price, it's all good.
Diane was great she gave me a good price and was very helpful. The other staff was also nice but I didn't like the manager who was flirting and saying inappropriate things. The location is great. Close to beach, trains and buses. They offered 3 euros pasta nights with wine and also free champagne nights where you could drink a lot of it. I found the hostel clean and with a good kitchen and nice little backyard. I recommend the Antares hostel!

the staff were nice. they allowed me to change my room. but it's inconvenient as there is only one plug in the room. if you choose down-bed, there is no light. it's really dark. by the way there is a four-bed room on first floor is pretty small and dirty. there are even some fly in the room. besides it was quite bad that i could smell everything from restaurant (on the street) the whole night. if we closed the window, there is no fresh air came inside. wifi connection didnt work in room.
Solid place, right across the street from Nice-Ville station which is really nice. Good staff, the room was alright, a little cramped even by hostel standards and the shower needed some work. Decent downstairs facilities. I may have been there at a bad time but there just weren't that many people staying there so it was pretty quiet.
Great location near Nice Ville train station, great staff, super clean rooms, kitchen facilities and lots of lounging areas! Not hard to get to the main sights and there is a super market just next door and lots of restos too! For a classic, reliable hostel experience, this is the place!
Very clean, very professional. Helpful staff. Great facilities, fun kitchen with hostellers using and enjoying it. Now I am returning with a friend on the 20th May.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. They allowed us to stay in the same room when we extended our stay
Excellent location, dos minutes away from the central station. Kitchen and common room big and well equipped. Rooms clean, spacy, towels included! I didn't have wifi in my room, though. In general, excellent price/quality relation.
Excellent Place to stay. Located directly opposite to the Nice Railway Station-one can see the hotel from the station itself. Staff can converse in English as well. Neat restrooms.
