it was great to stay this hostel for 3 nights:) staff were friendly and nice. the location of hostel was good coz it took 10 min walk from the station. but it's kinda not easy to find at the first time. and the market is pretty near this hostel and it's open from 9am to 8pm. so I'd say I'm so happy to have stayed in this hostel. thanks!

When we arrive there's nobody to open the door. We have to phone call for them. They don't give maps, there's no kitchen, no breakfast, it's little far from train station, the staff they're not nice but the wi-fi is good in the room. Anyway I don't recommend.
Antico Capon is a very nice hostel located right in Campo Santa Margherita, a lively place with a lot of pubs and restaurants, not far from Santa Lucia Station. The Staff is very nice and and amenable. The rooms are clean. I think it's the best deal you can get to sleep just in the centre of Venice.
The room was quite basic and fit for purpose, but would have appreciated more cleanliness in the toilet, where the heater was covered in dust. The view from our room was not particularly pretty, and it was a bit dark. The position was quite good though, and close to the center, and staff was very friendly and chatty.

Perfect location, away from the most touristy parts. I loved sitting in the piazza in the mornings and watching everyone. we really liked the guy who ran this hostel - he was friendly and helpful and we talked to him heaps. Small and basic rooms but exactly what we needed. Would def stay here again.
Upon checked in to the hostel, the receptionist brought us to their sister hostel which was not expected as we thought we paid a higher price we were entitled to stay at the hostel we booked. The sister hostel was so horrifying that even the receptionist was reluctant to go up to our room with us. He simply asked us to go up to room D4 and he just walked away. The sister hostel was dirty, no wifi and there were kids smashing glasses downstairs! This left a bad mark on our first Europe trip!
not hard to find according to the owners map! right in a square~ sooo many people there at night! which is really lovely. I like it a lot!
there were no lockers (or cupboard that can be locked) inside my room (4 beds shared room!)
It was a very small, quiet, pleasant place to stay. Venice is a beautiful place that requires a lot of walking, so it is about a 20 min walk to the hostel, but the staff there is very welcoming and funny. I loved staying there and enjoyed my trip in Venice even more because of it.
I was previously warned about Venice hotels so I didn't expect this. The location was great close to train and bus station and close enough to city centre. Staff were extremely poor got given wrong information regarding location of Landry, told to come back and ask later as night staff was playing a computer game and had to wait till 930 to check as couldn't pay for our room the night before as there was only a 15 yr on the desk. Bathroom smelled of mould, no wifi
Excellent location on Santa Margherita Square, with bars, restaurants and cafes open until late, near university area and still on a walking distance from Piazza de San Marco and all major sites.
It was a really good hostel. I liked it because it was near to the train station. The man from reception was really kind and gave advice when I needed it about visiting the city. The rooms was clean and in good condition. There were no problems with the noises from street. There are no breakfast but you have the great opportunity to go outside the hostel and try many small restaurants.
The offer wireless internet but only in the reception we could it connect
The staff were extremlty rude, too busy playing computer games to help you. We left our bags there after checkout with a man who said just put them under the window and when we came back, the lady working who we had not see before just let us get them without checking they were ours. No map of the city or suggestions about places to go. Felt like we were an inconvenience staying there.
