Many thanks to Elias (at Front Desk) for making our stay so pleasant! One recommendation to the cleaning staff to lock rooms after they leave (we found our door unlocked one day)and clean under the beds, too

The hostel is situated in the best area of Venice (near restaurants, supermarket, bakery...). Very nice square with a great atmosphere. The staff is excellent and the rooms really good. Don't hesitate, this is your hostel in Venice!

I made my complaints while I was there, and felt like everything I said did not make a difference.

Surprisingly nice place to stay for a short time. Every room has its own bathroom and wc, clean sheets and towels (for additional money). Good location - a lot of cafes and restaurants at the square, they also work at night, that's why there is plenty of people. And the manager! He is just awesome :)

Hostel on a nice location. The staff was very kind. Very pleasent that the room was available already before 11 am. The only thing that was less good was the cleanliness. There was quit some dust under the bed. We would recommend the hostel to other people in Holland when they want to visit Venice. Kindly regards Wim and Wilma from Dalfsen in The Netherlands.

A very nice place to stay. Very close to the Water Bus stop. Practically ON the night life area. The owner is super friendly. He spoke to my friend and I for a while and wanted to get to know us a little bit. Was very eager to help us with directions around Venice etc. Clean and comfortable. A perfect place to book at if you're planning to spend most of your day touring around Venice. I would reccomend it to anyone.

Perfect location. Comparing with other hotels and the high prices in Venice the Antico Capon offers good value for money. Nothing special, no common room, breakfast etc. Just a simple room. Was ok for 1-2 nights. Just don't expect too much.

The hostel was by no means a party hostel and there was no common area to meet other travelers. It was, however, a really nice stay in Venice. It was more of a cheap hotel than a hostel. It was expensive compared to other hostels around Europe, but is a good deal for Venice. The hostel is also right in a very active square with tons of local people of all ages enjoying food and drinks until late.

I think that hostel was a family business, so in the evening you will find and hear a family gathering, pretty noisy actually... The twin room where i stayed was in front of the reception, so i heard everything, i didn\'t feel that i got enough privacy there. Despite all that, the area is great to have a walk, to eat or drink something at night.

The manager is a friendly guy who sits you down with a map and tells you whats up in Florence. The location is good right near the main station, only about a 2 minute walk. The common room is a big plus and all the facilities and beds are clean as anything. Man, in the morning, there's a coffee woman in the morning, and she makes you coffee, for free man. Bonkas. And toast. Would definitely go back.

The room was cold and smelled a little musty, but I hear most rooms in Venice are over priced & the cost of this place is about as much as a hostel. The location was fantastic. As long as you don't mind walking a little, the square is beautiful and stacked with little shops and cafes and the trip from the hotel to the San Marco area is very pretty. It is also a short walk from the bus stop and train station. Overall, an okay/good stay.

Luz pobre. Amabilidad cero. Parecen cuartos de presos. Te deprime el ambiente. La tecla del baño daba corriente osea mantenimiento cero. Cualquiera se muere pegado. Vergonzoso

Rooms are very small for the price and there is no common room or anywhere else to hang out. The towels are so small, it felt like a hand towel - and i'm not a very big person. There was no hot water (not even lukewarm, it was freezing cold) in the bathroom at one morning. My friend was sick and we had to ask them to turn the heater on every night, cause it was just to cold to be there. The only good thing is the location, lots of cafes and close to the main attractions in Venice.

One of the best locations in Venice! Situated in a main drinking square, aka the only night life in Venice. During the day, the square it a little fruit/veggy/fish market. Very charming. Hostel was fine. Beds are tightly fit, but it works. Restrooms are within the room and there is hot water for the most part. Staff is unfriendly and disorganized- however, they did respond when I had a complaint about inconsiderate roommates.
