Enjoyed my stay. Nice clean place. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable. Lacked atmosphere abit but for that price cant complain too much.

This hostel was a terrible experience. Not only was the location terrible, but the facilities themselves were also awful. It was difficult to get to by public transport,(basically had to taxi!) and had nothing worthwhile around it. The bathrooms were terrible-- bad water pressure and hardly warm along with no privacy. Paired with the feeling of uncleanliness we were happy to leave London. One bright spot was a staff member who helped us order a cab.
Room 14. It did what was wanted- a bed in a room which was secure. (It was also en-suite - no problems with that). I suppose £45 for London (even that far out) is actually good value for money!). There was no breakfast, but a useful kitchen on the second floor. It was quiet as far as being part of a pub was concerned being in an annex at the back but noisy as it backed on to a busy road and the door was rather basic. A curtain to draw over the door at night would be good. But everything worked.
wifi was not working most of time, always on and off. room is big, and quiet when sleep. locates in zone 2 but need bus to metro station. kitchen is big and has a pc free to use.
If you want a real british experience i recomend you don't go central all the time while being in london. this place works like an hotel but you share the room with other people. its nice and works great if you want to avoid picadilly circus for a while. showers could have a little more preassure but thats all.
Clean and comfortable in a great location for the O2

Really nice hostel with an excellent self catering kitchen. Nice and very helpful staff. Good bathrooms.
It is a good place to stay, however, it was a bit anoying that they started cleaning the place at 8/9 o clock in the morning when people get up and would like to use the toilest or the kitchen.
The best Hostel i've stayed in. Warm, friendly, clean & comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen clean & tidy. Can't recommend it strong enough.
dorm rooms are large, beds are ok. toilets and bathrooms are cleaned everyday. kitchen has everything. next to Charlton train station. showers must be improved though.
We stayed two nights and a lot of the negative reviews i read were wrong! Or maybe the staff read them and fixed the mistakes. Either way it was in par with all the other hostels I've stayed in backpacking Europe and the staff is very nice. The major draw back is it's distance from the city but with an oyster card its only €2.30 each way on the train. Overall I would certainly stay here again if a hostel in city wasn't an option.
Very enjoyable stay, we only stayed for one night but would have happily stayed longer. Kitchen facilities was good, bedding was clean and location was excellant with being on a main bus route through. Recommended hostel.
