Staff were pleasant and the hostel is located right across from the train station and close to a grocery store, which was handy. The room was quite grotty and the whole place had a depressing atmosphere.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. It is an excellent place to stay in London and very convenient to travel or buy basic needs because of nearby Charlton train station and Sainsbury supermarket. The hotel is very clean, safe, and well maintained. The staffs in this hotel are very friendly. I will stay here again in future.

Everything was clean but the facilities are not as it was expected, considering the price paid. The showers dont work properly, you have to keep pushing the button every 10 seconds to remain the water flow. The kitchen was OK, everything was provided. The lockers are charged and they are not cheap. The hostel is in zone 2, very close to a rail (train) station thus, you are able to be on the most important touristic places in London in 30 min by far.

I'm not sure why this place was rated so highly. Pros: relatively cheap, close to shops and train station, has a nice kitchen. Cons: showers either didnt work or had to be pressed every three seconds, everything is so run down it just feels dirty, super far away from city center, no lockers, little to know atmosphere. not the best or the worst okay for a short stay.

It is a very nice hostel to stay and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room and toilets and kitchen areas are very clean and quiet, and the Charlton train station is only a few minutes walk to travel to all other tour places in London.

Location is a bit far out from central London (close to the O2 Arena though, but we weren't in town for that). The train station is pretty close though. It's on a street corner so the street noise can't really be helped. The bathroom situation was a bit odd with two showers + toilet + sink for 3 rooms. You need to keep pushing a button to keep the water running in the shower too (and the first few minutes will be cold). Overall, it was good for what we were paying for.

Located non-centrally but close to buses/trains for Greenwich, Woolwich, SE London (right opposite rail station). V. clean kitchen/dining room (with panoramic aerial views) and washrooms - but some toilets had no basin, and communal unisex showers had translucent doors and no private dressing area. Dorms are basic but adequate and clean; private rooms looked quite nice. Security could be stronger: I was not asked for official identity proof, and an internal door seemed ajar. No meals provided.
