The location of hotel is not bad, around 5-8 minutes far from train station. It is exactly located in front of small Hagia Sofia so if you are very sensitive about sound do not take this place (because of Azan sound). It is very small but clean place. The manager is an American lady who is very kind and supportive. My room didn't have enough light because it was opened to a wall :-? The breakfast was good, the shower wasn't good the heat water didn't work well.

I had a perfect stay over in Antik Sofia and will definitely stay there next time passing. Highly recommended B&B with really good view from the terrace where you can have your breakfast or just chill out. The landlady is great and really supportive giving you making your stay pleasure. And, look how close is to all the touristy places. Excellent location!

The Antik Sofia is situated in a very nice and calm neighborhood with some very good and pricey restaurants just around the corner. The room was clean and tidy, the staff is nice and the breakfast is good. There is always tea and cookies for free and the breakfast room has a great view of the Little Hagia Sofia (not the original one), which lies just opposite and a glimpse of the sea. If you are looking for a decent place and good value for your money, Antik Sofia is the place to go.

A very nice hostel, with clean rooms and a good location in Istanbul's old quarter. Lacks a bit of atmosphere and is relatively plain inside. Also, like most places in Istanbul, it's right next to a mosque so being woken up at 5 thirty in the morning is a certainty. The hostel owner is a really nice American woman who is very helpful. All sights are close by including a nice bazaar market. Breakfast is very good.

Very friendly staff, they greated us with tea and cookies. Great location. Located next to a mosque so bring earplugs if you don't want to hear the prayer call in the early morning

Really nice experience.I went with a friend and they assigned us the triple room because the hostel was full. The woman in charge of cleaning and breakfast does her job very well and she was always very kind.Rooms were always clean and they changed us towels and sheets every two days.Ali,the handyman, security man and recepcionist was also friendly. The only problem is even that you can pay with credit card, they "suggest" us to pay with cash and therefore we run out of cash.Highly recommended
