This was a pretty great place for the time of year. We had a private room and the only complaint we had was that the shower leaked--a minor trifle to have. The hostel is well situated in Sultanahmet and is about a 5 minute walk from the major attractions. It's a bit far from the central bus station but then again, everything is--the city isn't structured very well for bus travelers. The price was really great for the holiday season and the staff was pretty relaxed and helpful.

Firstly the staff are very nice and very warm and friendly. The forms are spacious and clean with a tv. The shower toilet area (mine was ensuite) was clean and brand new. Clean form and hostel. Great bar lounge room and the terrace view is amazing. Location excellent...5min walk to blue mosque. Breakfast great....wide variety including eggs tea coffee and cerial. I will stay here again. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

This place is incredible. It's down the street from sultanhamet square so the location is ideal. The hostel is very clean and BEAUTIFULLY decorated. The decor is Turkish and quite lovely and quaint. The staff, especially the man at the front desk ( I forgot his name) is very nice and helpful. The hostel has a terrace on the top floor that overlooks the Bosphorous ocean. This is where you can have breakfast, eat lunch or dinner (the chef is amazing- try the pasta) or smoke shisha. Amazing place.

Great place to stay. Nice looking old building in good location. Dinner upstairs a bit overpriced, but free breakfast was incredible.

It's our second stay at the Antique Hostel matched all our requirements. Great location for the main sights (Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque etc). Our private, en-suite room was large and comfortable with 24-hour hot water. Buffet breakfast (served on the roof terrace with great views over the Marmara Sea and Prince's Islands) was perfect for filling up on before going off to explore the sights.

everything was great except towels. we got dirty towels, like weren't washed at all. i believe they were, but not on good temperature for sure, could see brown dirt on them. for me wasn't a problem 'cause i always bring my towels but for colegue was. stuff was great, kind, polite, borrowed us umbrellas. hostel look great, neat with lot of explanations about hostel and rules in it. we could use internet also in caffe upstairs. room was clean, great balcony. thanks anyway!!!

Great location, spotlessly clean, and an unparalleled view from the breakfast area/bar (seriously bring your camera). More of a guesthouse, upscale feel, but this is a nice change of pace from typical hostels. Go here if you're looking for a calm center in the heart of Istanbul!

In general, everything was ok, but I think breakfast could be more varied. I recommend it if you're looking for good location at not very high price.

The Staff is really nice and friendly and they try to help you whenever they can The view from the terrace is superb and the breakfast ist quite good. It is really nice to sit there and have breakfast. What I didn't like was, that the staff always tried to bring you back to the bar where the beer costs more than in the convinience store right out the door. You are allowed to sit on the terrace but normaly only if you buy sthing, but I did it anyway. Just do it without buyin! It worths the view!
