This hostel in a great location and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They\'ve put a lot of effort in to decor and ambiance and it shows. Could\'t recommend it enough, truly a class place for the price. Unfortunately, I only stayed two nights... Pity that all hostels aren\'t as nice as the Antique Hostel! ... Antique Hostel is the place to stay in Istanbul. Terrific location, clean rooms, and an epic bar with stunning views of the sea. Also, very friendly and hospitable reception staff to who are willing to help you find your way around the city and make you feel at home in Istanbul. The single room behind the reception is a bit noisy. Breakfast is delicious! People are really friendly and helpful. Private double with ensuite had the shower and toilet in one, which wasn't ideal. Jemil who works there is extremely friendly and helpful. Don't use their airport transfer service. Walk 50m round the corner and book direct with the transfer company to save yourself 10TL. Breakfast is pretty average but free, so can't complain. Some fruit would be nice. I just stayed here for 4 nights in Feb. and it was one of the best hostels I have ever visited. The rooms are clean, the staff is SUPER friendly and always awake to help you, you can get hair driers, irons, towels, sheets, for FREE, AC that really works; and the best part is there is a rooftop bar open until 3 am with good beer and an excellent place to have fun with fellow travellers or see the fabulous views of Istanbul. definitely stay here..very SAFE place..I just stayed here for 4 nights in Feb. and it was one of the best hostels I have ever visited. Great location and staff however, the furniture and fixtures are becoming a little old when compared to other hostels. Also rooms need to have quilts on the bed rather than the blankets provided, which were also very old and shabby.Great location and staff however, the furniture and fixtures are becoming a little old when compared to other hostels. Love, love, love this place. The staff is super friendly. The place is clean, well-kept and close to all the major sites and attractions of Istanbul. The breakfast is generous with a lovely view of Sea of Marmara. Other than the weird orange juice which I surmiss as artificially flavored, everything is just rightt. The price is reasonable. I got a single private room which I loved staying in. Overall, I would give Antique a perfect score, Love, love, love this place. The staff is super friendly. This hostel was fantastic! The place was clean, safe, in an amazing location, breakfast was included and they were able to book tickets to shows and airport transfers for us. Plus, it was very reasonably priced and the staff were great. Highly recommended.This hostel was fantastic!
