They were doing some renovation on the entrance and stairs when we were there (March 2013) and the woman in charge speaks no english, but she made it up with a most attentive service and helpfulness (she even gave us some plain local breakfast that was delicious).

I stayed 2 nights in winter and must say it was well heated, in a very quiet large room, A pleasant stay, friendly welcomed, you are within 5-7 mn in the Deribassivskaya str. : the paradise !
