Anys Hostal was a very lucky find and an excellent deal. Very unique building, great, large rooms and an excellent location for exploring Roma by foot. Breakfasts were tasty and filling. Hosts were beyond helpful. Loved it. Highly recommended! Meg, Powell River BC

The manager, Alfonso, is so helpful in making your stay memorable. Definitely good value, with Mexican breakfast included. Room for two is basic, but spacious with cable TV and refrigerator. Easy access to bus and metro lines. Very highly recommened!

We loved our stay here. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was great with a walk in shower and marble counter tops. Alfonso the owner was great. He was very helpful with maps and basically anything that we needed. It was so nice to be able to wake up and have fresh coffee and breakfast while discussing what the plan was for the day with Alfonso. If i ever end up back in Mexico City this will be the only place I would want to stay.

For us it's all you can expect from a hostel. Compliments for the owner and his good hints what to do and what to see. Breakfast is nice and you'll get a real impression how life in roma norte works.

This is probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Alfonso, the owner, was a very sweet man and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. He went out of his way to organise bikes for us and to give us tips about where to go and what to see. He also minded our luggage. The twin room was really great. The largest I've ever seen, uncharacteristicly so for a hostel. We even had our own table, TV and fridge! Breakfast was also fantastic and cooked for us personally

Alfonso and staff are very helpful and lovely breakfasts. More like a Casa than a hostel. It is near the Metro and walking distance to Reformas. I will stay here again next time.

I loved this bed & breakfast. Very friendly staff whom spoke Spanish and English and always had time to help and provide information. It was a very old building with lots of decadent character with chandeliers etc, but well maintained with all facilities and wifi and very comfortable beds. It was also in a green peaceful and very safe neighbourhood, only 2 blocks from the train station metro.

Anys Hostel is a fantastic place to stay in Mexico City. The owner, Alfonso, is the ultimate host. He's kind, friendly, helpful (with many great recommendations) and very hospitable. He even provided some help when I was ill on one evening during our stay. He offers a variety of breakfast options, all of which are freshly made and very tasty. I'd also recommend the pizzas and baguettes you can buy. The location is great for bars, restaurants, Chapultepec park, public transport and feels safe

I would strongly recommend this hostel. The room was spacious and clean, and the location is very good; 20 minutes in the metro to the historic centre, and 45 minutes to the airport. The owner, Alfonso, was always available to provide help with our sight seeing plans and went out went out of his way to ensure we made the most of our five days in Mexico City.

Lovely place to stay. We had a large room with floor to ceiling shuttered windows. Alfonso could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

It's just great. It's a typical home hotel, and you live in a house with the owner. Afonsa is so nice and helpful and made our stay and travel in Mexico city so much easier! They have a great kitchen there and you can cook instant noodles and other dishes if you want. They also serve very good breakfast! And good traditionally baked pizza! Try the Anys special pizza (can't remember the name but it has an Anys in it!). This is not a fancy hotel, but you feel comfortable and safe staying!

Stayed 5 nights and I would definitely come back. Next to the Metro Sevilla station. It was a home away from home and the owner was kind and very helpful. The rooms are large and the breakfasts were delicious!

We thought the place was great at the price, especially the host who was considerate, attentive and very willing to help with suggestions of places to visit and help with booking further travels and accommodations.
