The best aspect of the hostel is Alonso the owner. He looked after us like an old friend. He planned out our sightseeing, booked tickets for us even took me to the local barber. It was a delight to meet him.

Alfonso is a greay guy! He makes your stay so nice. If I come in a small group i'm definatelly going back to Anys.

Great location - close to the Sevilla metro with good links. Plenty of quality local restaurants. Hostel itself is tidy with spacious rooms and a grand staircase. Breakfast is included. Alfonso the owner / manager is a legend - goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, assists with onward bookings and offers fantastic tips for all things Mexico...

We, a group of four, stayed at Anys Hostal for three nights. Although we have only booked 2 private twin rooms, the owner Alfonso arranged 2 HUGE rooms(1 with kitchen, both like an apartment more than hostal) for us. This hostal exceeded expectations in every respect. Everything about our stay here was great, Alfonso was an extremely nice, helpful and friendly man. He gave us lots of advice & tips on when, where and how to go the main attractions of Mexico City and will heip you everything if he can. E

Great hostel located in a safe area of Mexico City. Close to the subway and Zona Rosa. Our room for two was a lot bigger than I expected; it even had a dining table, fridge and TV. Alfonso is simply the best. He provided great recommendations for tours and set them all up for us. All we had to do was show up downstairs and hop on the van. We had an early flight back home and he woke up at 4am to make sure our cab was there to take us to the airport. I highly recommend this place.

A home away from home. Alfonso and his family are wonderful hosts. The Hostal is centrally located, easy to get to from the airport using the metro, is very comfortable and Alfonso is extremely helpful when it came to planning our siteseeing trips around the city and beyond. I hope to get back to Mexico City again since there's so much to see and do here. Ten days wasn't enough. I'm hoping there will be a room available here when I do.
