Great hostel located in a safe area of Mexico City. Close to the subway and Zona Rosa. Our room for two was a lot bigger than I expected; it even had a dining table, fridge and TV. Alfonso is simply the best. He provided great recommendations for tours and set them all up for us. All we had to do was show up downstairs and hop on the van. We had an early flight back home and he woke up at 4am to make sure our cab was there to take us to the airport. I highly recommend this place.
A home away from home. Alfonso and his family are wonderful hosts. The Hostal is centrally located, easy to get to from the airport using the metro, is very comfortable and Alfonso is extremely helpful when it came to planning our siteseeing trips around the city and beyond. I hope to get back to Mexico City again since there's so much to see and do here. Ten days wasn't enough. I'm hoping there will be a room available here when I do.
Alfonso and his family are the swetiest persons ever. They are incredibly helpful and handy. They allways have lots of tips to give us and maps and everything. I let him plann my day, what' was awesome to me. He helped me a lot. I strongly recommend staying there. And its really close to the metro, so its a really good place to stay. And my bedroom was really Nice.
Conveniently located close to metro stations Sevilla and Insurgentes, and walking distance to Zona Rosa (10 minutes) and Condesa (20 minutes). Alfonso the manager was very helpful with ideas for day trips, especially how to see the alternative Xochimilco, not the really touristy one.
