nice cute place, the garden area is nice. the room was good, we had a double private room with ac. however, bathrooms not as clean as i would like, they are open to outside as the top is open. also, we asked the staff to book a cooking class for us, but they did not want to book for us the one that we wanted and instead booked another one which was not as nice, and also they charged us a fee because when we asked other people at the class how much they paid it was lower :(

Wonderful, affordable, social but not in an over-the-top-partying kind of way, staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it!

Aoi is really friendly and extremely helpful. She will go out of her way to accommodate you and make sure you see/do everything you want. The hostel is sociable and chilled, lovely setting for meeting people, very clean and in a great location in the old town. I looked at other places in Chiang mai and they don't come close, especially for the price. Can't recommend this place enough.

Aoi is a very friendly person and a great host, always trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The Hostel has a very nice garden-like courtyard inviting you to stay. Aoi also takes the cleanliness of her place serious.

The yard is so great! Although u may feel hard to fall asleep if u have booked a fan room and the weather is not so cool. But if u want a quiet place to sleep or to read, it is definitely a good choice.

One of my favorite hostels I've stayed at! The staff here are great-really helpful and nice. Good food there you can buy. 10 minute walk to the oldest temple there. Beautiful garden to hang out in and meet people. I wanted to extend my stay but they were already booked so Aoi set me up in a nice tent by myself with a sleeping mat and fans which was actually quite comfortable actually. I definitely recommend it!

This has to be one of the best places to stay while in Chiang Mai. Why . . . because they go out of their way to make you feel at home and give good advice about various excursion options. They serve a good breakfast and on occasions have the best BBQ's bar none. During the hot season I strongly that you book one of the three air-con rooms, as if you are like me and have a low tolerance to hot climates. In other words, Highly Recommended.

I loved it here!! Aoi is a fantastic woman and so helpful! The location is a bit out of the way but a nice quite alley and a short walk to the songathews and old city center. The people you meet there are friendly and Aoi will host some events for the hostel (a BBQ etc). I'd definitely come back!!!

Such a great place to stay in Chiang Mai - super central location but on a quiet street, everything is very clean, the staff incredibly helpful and the garden is hard to leave! The little cafe is great, too. Honestly for the value I haven't stayed at a better place in 4 months of traveling.
