The reviews on this place are too high, in my opinion. I went with high expectations and was definitely disappointed. It's a nice enough place to stay but for the 4 days my group was there it was just an average hostel, nothing set it apart. Not enough bathrooms/showers for the amount of guests. The breakfast and iced coffee are delicious though :)
Quiet hostel in center of Chiang Mai. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
This is a very chilled hostel, about a 20min walk away from the main tourist area of muan moon road which is why I picked it.I had a room rather than a dorm and it was good value for money, but the dorms below it looked nice. Relaxed atmosphere, good wifi. I'd say safe it was safe for single travellers male or female. I wanted to stay another few nights but it was fully booked so had to move on. I would stay again if I went back to Chiang Mai.
Charming well-located place with a tasty menu for its gorgeous garden area and helpful staff. Really good value!

By far the best hostel I have ever been to. Aoi is the sweetest lady in Thailand. The hostel had a great location and atmosphere. The staff works so hard to make everyone comfortable and happy. I can't wait to go back! If you are in Chiang Mai, it would be a big mistake not to stay here!
One of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. Joy (Aoi?) aka the owner is awesome and funny. All of the staff is friendly, and its a great place to hang out and drink/eat and get to know people. Highly recommended
There is a great garden to hang out in and to meet people. If you are lucky, the owner might throw a bbq :) she can also book the tours for you although some might be more expensive. Overall, it was a great place with friendly staff!!
Aoi was so niece and kind. Everyone very friendly. And the clothes washing so cheap and smells amazing !! We realy enjoyed our stay food was epic !
This was a great hostel, and I would definitely recommend it!
Of all my travels around the world, this is my favorite hostel. The owner and staff are as nice as they come. They give great advice for trips and things to do around Chiang Mai and saved us a lot of money. It's a very clean place, even with shared bathrooms. AC worked great. Beds aren't the best but they work. Can easily hear your neighbors but again, it's a hostel. Bring ear plugs. Graden area is beautiful and a very relaxing place to hang or have breakfast. Would love to come back again!
Very relaxed atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended place for a nice time in Chiangmai!
Good place to meet people, staff very friendly. Dorms are a little 'tight', not much room for your bags. Also disappointed that they prioritised booking larger groups over individuals... Tried to extend my visit, however as they were catering to large groups returning from trekking tours, we were bumped. Overall, a great place to stay, though not sure I would rate it the best in Chiang Mai.
Quite possibly the best hostel I've ever been to. Aoi and her business partner are amazing and helpful. The only downside is most of the rooms don't have AC, and only one shower per 'villa' which could have 8+ people in it.
Nice guest house in the old town in Chiang Mai. It's around 10 minutes to the tourist area at the East gate. Rooms are very good for the money however the only downside is that the walls of the teak buildings are pretty thin so if people are partying in the garden it can become pretty noisy. Having said that if I was in the area again I would definitely stay again and would reccomend it to people staying in Chiang Mai
Hands down, the best hostel in Chiang Mai. It's the third time I come to my favorite city in Thailand and I stayed here again because it just feels like home. Aoi, the owner, is simply amazing, and will make sure you have a great time while you in town. Clean rooms, cheap prices and a little bar with reasonable prices where you can hang out and meet other fellow travellers. If you are coming to Chiang Mai, this is the place to stay.
Great place. Staff -excellent. Spotless bathrooms.
Bring mozzy spray you don't get a mosquito net and I don't know about some of the other rooms but there were cracks in our walls, but I had a lovely stay here atmosphere is good the owners didn't talk to me too much, but I heard some other people who were there longer got very close with them and had only nice things to say. For how much you pay it's so worth staying here!
Aoi is super helpful and the garden with gazibo is a totally gorgeous place to chill when you get back from a long day. Book Woodys Elephant Park with them-the highlight of our trip.
