Very clean bathroom, very comfortable beds, nice common areas. Met great people there, many solo travellers. Little far from the beach but walkable distance. Cheap water and drinks. Don't book trips with them, they sold me a very bad trip to phuket.

For those who have a functional pair of legs, Ao Nang Backpacker's Hostel is an excellent place. The lounge on the deck is great for meeting travelers, and the TV facilities inside comes with cable and movies, alos well-loved by travelers looking to chill. A little overcrowded for the size of the building, which takes its toll on overall cleanliness and the wi-fi signal in the evening (which is unusable at times). All in all though, a good choice for budget travelers looking to enjoy Railay!

Ao Nang Backpacker is a great hostel! The staff are lovely and helpful, the food is great (and cheap), the rooms are clean and the place has a fun atmosphere. I'll definitely stay there again :)

This was the first hostel we stayed in, we where In the female dorm, which was clean and has a en suit. although area was very small to keep backpacks in. Don't be fooled by reviews saying it's a 10 minute walk to the beach, it took atleast 25 minutes! Don't recommend staying in krabi for long, it was VERY BORING! But this hostel is a good stop off place.

Super clean, hot showers and really friendly helpful staff

Great place to spend a night or two. Aonang is very touristy and you can't feel a local culture, but it's a great jump off point for the islands and Railay/Tonsai beach. Accomodations are roomy and clean, had a young backpacker vibe. Very helpful staff.

Good location, good rooms. Not nearly enough toilets/showers. Great cheap beer, but the music they played was horrible! Staff was friendly enough, facilities were kept pretty clean. Would stay again if in Ao Nang.

Love this hostel. Stayed twice within a week. Great location for me personally as i like to exercise. Only a 20 min walk to beach or 20bht sungtaui thing. April and her staff are lovely. Really made booking trips, buses to airport etc. Easy. Good rooms, although probably on the big side. Quite a bit of disturbance in the night. Need a sign to tell people to not talk in dorms after midnight or something. Would annoy if you had an early excursion/bus/flight. Great communal/cafe out front. Love it

The best parts about this hostel are the staff because they are so friendly and helpful, the food because its made right on site and its so good, and the location because its just a walk to the beach, which is beautiful, by the way!

Lovely and helpful staff. The only criticism is that the bathrooms could have been cleaner and 2 showers for all the people is not really enough.

not amazing. It feels different from other places we stayed in Thailand. You can clearly feel that you are just a tourist in the number not a guest or less than less a friend. Said this the place is OK, the beds are fine and you can regulate the aircon and the fans. Showers are not very clean, but this is more up to the guests than to the hosts. Can do, just don't expect to be enthusiast of this place.

I was suprised by this hostel, very clean and modern, never been to a hostel with a smoothie bar before, staff went out of there way to help me out on several occasions, would defiantly recommend this place!

Security- one day we forgot the keys on the dorm and got 3am in the hostel and just went to the back door and entered. Location- a good 20 minutes walk to the beach/restaurants/bars. Staff- sold us a wrong ferry ticket and was laughing at us when we ask for refund. At the end they recognised the mistake ("the staff sometimes doesn't understand english") and gave the money back - but no sorries. The rest - one day without water, cold showers and little water pressure. Avoid it!

This place was great. Clean n friendly. I said location was good because i hire a scooter there for 250Bt/day and only 5mins from Ao Nang beach. Stayed in Big doem but no bunks all seeiously comfortable single beds. Staff were really friendly. Highly recommend this place. Only down Point was water pressure in showers but i overlooked this because beds were sooo comfy. Stay here backpackers. ;)

Really good hostel. Very clean with good security. Only downfall was that there wasn't enough bathrooms. Seemed to spend most of my time there waiting for the shower!

Good value for your money. Stayed in the 30 person dorm, and it was great, easy to get a good nights sleep because the room was dark and air conditioned! It's a little far from the beach, 20 minutes by foot, but we rented a scooter, so it was good!

We went in October and paid 150 baht a night. For that it was a bargain. Comfy beds, great little cafe downstairs, the staff were really nice and helpful, and it's got a great view from the front. It's about 20 minutes walk to the beach, but apart from that I can't fault the place.
