Grand Inn is fine if you're not very picky. I didn't hear of any other hotels that were cheaper on the main strip, so it's a good value. Though my room was cleaned, I'm certain the shared bathroom wasn't cleaned for the whole week I stayed. I definitely don't remember reading that there was NO hot water so keep that in mind! About the shared bathroom, you will be constantly locked and have to get the front staff to let you in again, fairly annoying. My room was noisy but not unbearably so.

This place was so wonderful, I changed my booking from 1 night to 4! The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily and the receptionists are WONDERFUL and really helpful. The location couldn't be much more perfect, close to all kinds of bars and restaurants and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very friendly staff, safe and secure. Good location in Ao nang. Would recommend although price was very high for a private room (about 900 baht) compared to other nearby guest houses. I wanted to prebook as was christmas so if you can get the price down a bit then it's a good place to stay.

Is good choice for those budget traveller..

Location is reasonably central and the rooms are spacious. The bathroom is in a shack outside which is a bit unusual. Price seemed a bit high. Good for small groups but not much for common areas to meet other backpackers.

Everything was alright at reasonable price. Location is excellent. Just that the staff were not as great as described by some earlier comments. One reception girl was impatient to answer my questions regarding their day tour. When I told them I lost my wallet and asked where I can make urgent international calls, they just seemed indifferent. At the end I went to the travel agent next door and they allowed me FREE access to international calls, after they heard my story.

Some of the staff were friendly, some had a little attitude. The location was a close walk to the beach (just down the street). The place was extremely noisy, a bar next door with loud music at night and you can hear everyone talk in the halls and walk around. The room was not dark at all because the curtains don't block the hallway light. The view, well the windows looked into the hall, nothing more. The place was under construction so messy. Nothing creative about it.

I have to tell you, this place is the most suitable place if you are planning for backpackers. I just the place, it is really complete. The facilities were 1st class. The wifi speed was just great. I would recommend this place to my friend if they ever plan to Krabi.

Family room was perfect, clean, nice bathroom, hot water everything is OK, ... Single double room was far from perfect, not clean, windows can not be open fully so air is not clear, bathroom was dirty, and water is dripping from the floor ... etc. Location is OK, there is 7eleven across the street and few cheap places to eat which are near, there is like 7 minute walk to beach.

A really good value place to stay in Aonang, we have stayed here 3 times now as we went to different islands from this base and would stay here again.

A very good location, right in the middle of the main streets. The rooms are tidy and clean. Doesn't have a lot going on, but is everything that you need and cheap.
