Nice place to experience a traditional style of accomodation.

Apa kaba? Very very well! Lovely place, very relaxing, cheap (3private was 20MRper person) mangoes for free really good breakfast, great hosts, pets. No air con in some rooms but the fan works well. Close to attractions, a garden, away from the noise of the backpacker area. I recommend it if you want to feel at home and relax!

We had a great time at this homestay. Kenny and his family were very kind. The garden is beautiful. With free mango's from there own mangotree! And also a lot of animals walk around freely. City center is about 10 min walking. Nice foodcorners are near by. Typical malaysian breakfast is served! Hopefully staying there again sometime!

This hostel was a great choice! We enjoyed all the facilities we needed for a very small price! Staff was extremely helpful and lovely! They didnt only explain us everything around the town, but also invited us to their evening parties in the garden, gave us as many fresh mangos falling right there from the tree, and allowed us to use showers and other facikities after we checked out as our bus ran late... the breakfasts were good too! Every morning foodwas new and diverse with felicious fruits

Apa Kaba homestay is the best kampong house I stayed in! The people are very friendly and helpful, the house is very nice and traditional, located in a quiet and residential area. It is very convenient as in 10 mins we can reach the city center.

It's a nice Homestay with friendly owners. We had the ensuite room and it had everything except for a minibar. The owner told us all about the city and helped us great. Overall a nice stay for a good price. The Homestay is not in the middle of the centre but all is in walking distance. Recommend this one!

Beautiful, characterful and charming house in a perfect location to see the city. It was perfect with the children as the garden was lovely and safe for them to play in, with lots of animals, and it was an easy walk to the sights. Aside from the noisy cockerels, it was perfect!

We had a pleasant stay there. Only thing that happend was that our stuff was moved from one room to another without letting us know about it. The facilities are really cool and the atmosphere is very friendly.

Breakfast was very nice. The hosts were warm, friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well. We liked the location away from the hustle and bustle. This is a good choice for people who don't need/want to be on top of the "action". A nice experience.

The staff was so nice and helpful (although not always available) and the outdoor garden was good place to meet fellow travelers. This is a house so if you are accustomed the amenities of a hotel this may not be the place for you.

I wished I could have stayed there longer. I really love the kampung environment and its close proximity to the tourist spots. I will definitely recommend Apakaba homestay to my family and friends.

It a nice location near to the main malls, it is peaceful and has a garden area with decking to chill out on. The staff were all great and happy to make recommendations and the breakfast was the best we have had anywhere (loads of choice). The room was a straightforward twin but don't expect anything modern as it is a converted house, which is adequately clean.
