Apa Kaba Home&Stay Reviews

I was glad to stay at Apa Kaba Home&Stay,the family of the hotelkeeper are very helpful,talkative,and honest .I liked the homely and comfortable atmosphere, and the local breakfast provided by the AK .The day stayed at AK was one of my unforgettable experiences in my travel ,so I will stay more days at AK in my future travel of Malaysia. By the way , say hello to the scottish guy (very sorry I forgot the name) if he still stay here and the parents of the hotelkeeper , they are very kind to me.

it's really nice, so relaxing, it really feels like home, breakfast are great, staff is awesome, i would defenitely recomend it to my best friend.

This is a hostel located in a busy town of Melaka. Melaka have a lot of hotels and hostels but no one like this have the big garden for parking and camping. This home stay give us a very good time. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, can try difference of local dish. We will go back this home stay for sure.

So good we stayed extra an 4days! This was the most relaxing place I've stayed during the last six weeks. There are ducks wandering around the garden, some rabbits in a hutch and a couple of house cats,too. Apa Kaba has been in the same family for three generations and we were made to feel welcome guests at all times. I'd recommend Apa Kaba to anyone of coming to Melaka - it really is that good! Thank ypu to Moon Tree in Penang for first suggesting we come here.

The quiet guesthouse is near to everything and has a nice big garden where you can sit to sip your free tea/coffee and read a book. Breakfast is different every day and consists of local delicacies or you also have the option of toast with jam. Rooms were big with enough room for your stuff. The family running the place and their staff were very friendly and can give you a lot of tips for walking tours and local food. They also have bikes for rent. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend it.

Great location,walking distance to the center and restaurants, the owner is great,you wouldn't find a more helpful person,really chill atmosphere and the breakfast just a bite of paradise ;)

We liked it a lot in Apa Kaba! The rooms are coloufull and nice and the garden is a great place to relax. Our 3 year old also loved to play with the rabbits, chade away the ducks and play with the children. The staff and family were very kind and made us feel at home. We got great advice for places to have lunch and dinner and Apa Kaba is a walking distance away from the citycentre. Our stay was a highlight in our vacation!

The hotel is close to the major attractions of the city but is as the same time very quiet. The owners are very helpfull and friendly. We definitely recommend this hotel.
