This was a very confrotable nights sleep, close to the entrance of the national park. The only place we had been which didn't provide a mini kitchen which we had grown used to as all the others had provided us with one or given us access to. This is however, was not the fault of the owner (who is lovely by the way). This is an ideal place to stay if you are visiting Mljet. It is set right on the sea front moments away from where the cata docks from the Dubroknik. The owner was amazing and helped us out with anything that we needed including helping to plan the next leg of our journey using her local contacts. The rooms on the top floor are better so ask for one before you arrive. Each room has cooking facilities and so if you need to watch the budget this place is ideal!This is an ideal place to stay if you are visiting Mljet. Great spacious apartment,clean and well equipped and furnished.Good location for getting into national park and for shops (all 2 of them!) and restaurants of Polace.Fab sea view from balcony. Good value for money,can recommend. This place was great! Would recommend to anyone. Polace is a bit smaller and a bit less touristy than Pomena and therefore the better for it. The photo on hostel-world doesn\'t do justice to the rooms. They have been recently refurbished, had everything needed for a self-catering holiday, although the balcony views are amazing where you\'ll see the whole bay, and octopus being cooked under the bell at the local restaurants. It really is an idealic location. Just regret not staying there longer.This place was great! Would recommend to anyone. We loved Mljet and were very glad we stayed at these rooms in Polace. The location was great, very friendly staff, clean room and a lovely balcony overlooking the water. Very good, in front of the sea, street with lots of restaurants underneath. (If you go there try to get an "under the bells" meal, delicious).
