Nice place and people but à little far some the old place, à lit of stages to clim, but really good in general! Big rooms!

Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Even though it was outside the Old town it was only about a 10 minute walk from the Old town walls. Great value for your money and the couple that owns the apartments are super nice and helpful. They were an older couple and the wife greeted us with juice and cookies which we thought was super sweet! The husband explained how to get to and from the Old town by bus and walking and was super helpful. Loved this place, it was very calm and serene which was nice.

It's a bit of a distance from the old town, mainly in terms of stairs going uphill - but no more than 10-15 mins walk. Besides that, it's a lovely and spacious apartment and the hosts were very kind and friendly. It was also very clean and comfortable. Would recommend it to anyone who wouldn't mind the walk.

The old couple who runs this guesthouse are really sweet. The husband welcomed us with cookies and lemonade. The location though was really hard to find cos directions is useless. You can get a taxi there which is a little expensive so my best advise is to start from pile gate near old town and follow the stairs next to a pizzaria and just continue uphill 10-15 minutes.

The hosts were very gracious and friendly. They greeted us with cookies and juice and recommended sights and restaurants. Our room, shared bathrooms, and the kitchen were immaculate, and what a view! Signs encourage guests to leave bathrooms cleaner than they found them. There should be garbage cans in the rooms and bathrooms to help guests do this more efficiently. Also, the bathroom rugs could be cleaned more often or even eliminated because of heavy foot traffic. We loved this place!

Although you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach this property, it still is the best option to stay in Dubrovnik if you dont want to be in a dorm. Really nice rooms with excellent facilities on about 10 minutes from Old Town. Could really recommend booking Stella apartments!

Although it is close to the old town it requires the use of public bus or climbing a big amount of stairs. Be aware that this place is on the top of the hill as is quite difficult to reach by walking.

We had a great stay at Apartments Stella. The hosts are very kind, gave us a warm welcome and made our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and nice as was the bathroom. From the balcony we had a priceless view on the old town of Dubrovnik and the ocean. The apartment has a guest kitchen, which is great if you want to prepare your own food. The only problem for us was to find the apartment. We would recommend to print out a map beforehand and walk from Pile Gate or take a cab right away.

Apartments and rooms Stella was the nicest place we stayed on our trip. Very cosy atmosphere, lovely view to the Adriatic Sea and friendly hosts. Closed shutters for shade and open windows to let the sea breeze in. That's a sleep to remember. You will get up though, because you'll be eager to open the shutters and see how the Adriatic looks this morning.

Hostel was very clean and although about a ten minute walk from Dubrovnik, we found that it was nice to stay a little out of the centre. When we asked to stay an additional night the hosts were very accommodating.

The place itself is a bit hard to find, but once you have it's a lovely experience! The two owners are absolutely lovely people, who answered a bunch of questions for us about grocery stores and so on. The rooms are all well secured, and they've got a shared kitchen which was really useful.

A lot of stairs to climb to get here (as with everywhere in Dubrovnik) but when we did the view from our room was fantastic! Lovely hosts, great room, really enjoyed having this place as a base for our few days in this beautiful city. When you arrive, if you've got a suitcase with you just get on the no. 3 bus from the Old Town and it's a 15 minute journey to the top of the hill.

Lovely place to stay but very difficult to find! (A lot of apartments are in this area however). We needed to ask two locals to direct us, much harder by car with a small road map- we would recommend the bus! Convenient location to the old town however and beautiful views.

The directions provided are a total joke!!! There is no way to reach old town from this place in 5 minutes. I arrived with a few bags and had a lot of trouble to get there!! It was so unfair that we decided to cancel the reservation when we saw the real location of the hostel. I didn't expect a property to lie in such a dirty way.

The place is away from the old town. Its a way better to take there by bus!

Lovely hosts, nice place. Distances are however a bit misleading. Its 250 steps down to Zagrebacka road, from which its about 8 min walk to the Old Town (it even says it on the sign on the pavement). So for sure NOT 5 min walk to old town :) I still think its a good location. Dubrovnik is on the hill and you are gonna have to accept the steps no matter what. Although in the heat, it gets tiring after a while even for young people :D

Very good, clean and nice hostel, located close the city centre. The owners are really friendly and helpful. I had a great time there and for sure I'll stay there again when I come back to Dubrovnik!
