Excellent stay in Stella Apartments. Positive: Cleanliness, confortable rooms and nice sea view. Warm welcome with orange juice and biscuits. Nice owners! Negative: Nothing really! A good place. Not central but with excellent views.

The apartment was fantastic! It had such a beautiful view and balcony which was amazing to watch the sunsets off. The husband and wife that own them are so lovely and look after you immensely. The room and bathroom were immaculate. Overall a fantastic place to stay in Dubrovnik. Also don't let the fact that there are stairs to climb to the apartment deter you... you can always catch a bus back up from the old town. The climb up makes the view all that more amazing.

The couple running Stella were very helpful and nice when we arrived. A very clean house, though tthere really are a lot of steps to get there!

During our Croatia-tip as a student couple, we stayed in Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik. In our opinion, both our accomodation and the city of Dubrovnik were the best Croatia-experiences we had! Dubrovnik very lovely town. The same goes up for Apartmens & Rooms Stella. A 5 min walk from the Old Town throught narrow alleys and you're at your room. But the walk is well worth it! As is the extremely friendly owner, the beautifull terras you can make use of, the rooms and the prices! A big reccomend!

We were absolutely delighted with Apartment and Rooms Stella - advertising itself as 'Rooms Stella' is definitely underselling it to an English speaker. 'Rooms' suggests something fairly pokey and small, but this accommodation is beautiful, with very clean rooms in a spacious private section of the house (the owners live above), and excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. Located up a steep climb from the old town, but much closer than the majority of other hotels etc. Highly recommended.

Fantastic view! No air con as stated, though had a fan. Nice to be within walking distance of Old Town and stairs were not terrible, but definitely a production. Annoying not to be able to pop in and out through the day. Quick bus to Gruz for buses and ferries. Would stay in Old Town, Pile, or Ploce next time, though this price is unbeatable (bc it is more stairs than any other sobe!). Ask the hosts for detailed instructions from the top of the hill; we had to ask a random family to find it.

You basically get a room in an apartment which has a spacious kitchen and bathroom. We had to call the owner to pick us up as the directions to get there aren't super clear and it is quite challenging to find - the 'road' it's on is actually the name of the steps next to the house! It's very clean and tidy and the owners are lovely but I have to say that it is a good 15 mins walk from the old town and heading towards 25 mins coming back as it's up a lot of steps.

We really enjoyed staying here. The owners were very friendly and gave us a drink and some cake when we arrived and recommended places to visit and eat etc. The room was modern and clean and the balcony had amazing views over the old town. The en suite was across the corridor but we didn't find this to be a problem. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was really nice. Clean and comfortable, good kitchen and bathroom. Nice areas outside to chill in. It is pretty hard to find though. And be prepared for lots of hills. But close to old city.

they charge 50KN for pick up from the bus station. which is alright as the bus would need ages and there's no way to walk up the hill. it takes around 10 minutes to get to the old town but a good 20 minutes to get back climbing all the stairs. the house is very clean and the view (sea) from the balcony is amazing! staff would have been excellent if not giving us a hard time for using the facilities after check-out (told us it would be fine before).

The apartments are clean and the owners are very friendly. The only problem may be location. It is a 470 step climb up from the old town. However, this means you get a nice little view over Dubrovnik.

We had a fantastic stay here. The couple who own the apartment were lovely and greeted us with some cakes and a drink, explaining about the local transport and the quickest way into the old town (down some very steep steps!). Any questions we asked they were delighted to answer and very knowledgeable about the area. I couldn't recommend the apartments more, and they also have a beautiful sea view and sizeable kitchen.

If I could rate 200% I would. The place is great, with incredible views of the sea and part of the old town. The owners are so nice!!! Thanks for everything. We couldn´t say good bye, but we will come back to say ¡hello again.! Its just up the old town (lots of stairs though) and we had to take a taxi to reach the place. If you dont want to pay 10€ just take bus number 3 and stop just after going under the highway brigde.

The couple that owns the hostel were lovely and extremely helpful! I was unwell and they drove me too the hospital in the middle of the night! The place was clean and fairly spacious with a nice view and good kitchen.

Very good value for money with lovely staff and a beautiful view! The hostel is right at the top of of the hill lookng over old dubrovnik so whilst it is five minutes down it is a fair old trek up! You are able to get regular buses up for just over a pound so not a problem if you don't fancy the steps! Spotlessly clean- we had the 'deluxe double ensuite' with a private bathroom over th corridor and use of the balcony. Would recommend!
