Very cozy room and friendly staff. They received us with a snack. They don't ask for that, but it's kind to say the time of your arrival because they're a elderly couple. There are 3 rooms, all of them face the old town: great view. And there are 3 bathrooms, so maybe you don't even share it. The location is good, but it's hard to find at first time and it's a hill, so expect some stairs. Everything was really good, they just miss air conditioning, but they have a good ventilator.

The owner will greet you with cold juice and some biscuits, give you the city map and explain how to get around, but after one day you are scared to open the fridge because he is a little bit nosy. There is a problem to find this place, but eventually it has very safe parking space, but you'll have to carry your laguage 100 meters which may be a problem for woman travelling alone. The view from the balcony is stunning.

What a wonderful place! Our hosts were two of the friendliest people we met during our whole trip. We will definitely come back! And the steps are worth the beautiful view!!!

Very kindful lady received us with juice and cookie. There's a lot of steps to get to the hostel but I think it's always like that, because the city is like that. I strongly recommend. :)

This as a good hostel. The staff was kind. The only issue was that it was a bit far from the bus stop (about a 30 minute walk) and it was kind of hidden. But all in all enjoyed the stay.

The couple that ran the place is super nice! The rooms are spacious and the place as a whole is really clean. Besides the location which is a 15 min hike, everything else was great. If getting from the port/ bus station I totally recommend taking bus 3 or 8 to the house. It would make your life a lot easier. It took us an hour (asking for direction) to get there from the bus station and we hiked up all those stairs with our backpack and in the heat, let's just say it unpleasant.

The host and hostess were lovely people and we always felt welcome. The apartment was a great size and the kitchen had everything you could need. The toilets were nice and clean all the time. Be mindful of the stairs however. There are a lot. All in all a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for ten days and had a really fantastic time. The hosts were lovely- couldn't have asked for nicer people! The location was beautiful, and only flawed by the hundreds of steps to walk up from the old town. The kitchen was well equipped and the outside terrace is very pretty.

We had a wonderful stay here, the couple are so welcoming with the juice and cake at our 11pm arrival! The view from our room was beautiful and we didn't mind the steps up to it as its a pleasant walk. The apartments were immaculate and rooms were of a great size. All round recommended!

Good location but a lot of steps. Only the top floor rooms have the view in the pictures and we ended up on the ground floor which was disappointing. The couple were also reluctant to move us and we feel that was because we were a younger couple. The rooms were clean and well equipped with air conditioning and the kitchen also had all facilities required. The garden was beautiful also. Very difficult to find, we would advise to ring and get them to collect you.

A lovely couple own this hostel and they will help you out as best as they can. An excellent hostel which is in walking distance of the Old Town. We stayed two nights and loved the location.

Fantastic place to stay, particularly if you're looking for somewhere cheap and close to the Old Town. The amount of stairs to the apartment would cause difficulties for anyone who isn't relatively fit and healthy, however there is always the option of taking the bus, so it's really not too bad. The kindness of the owners, made our stay incredibly pleasant, and the view from the bedroom windows cannot be beaten. I highly recommend Stella Apartments!

Lovely room with old decor with a sea view.Only downside is the 300-400 steps to and from the old town which is quite difficult in 30+ weather. The owners Stella and her partner are lovely people with limited english. We had two bathrooms and one kitchen shared between two other couples,ie six people in total on one floor.Upon arrival,we were greeted with drinks and cake.

Apartments & rooms Stella, are rooms with a shared kitchen with 3/4 other rooms. If you’re looking for a hostel to meet people it’s probably not the best place to stay as It's luck of the draw how sociable it will be depending who else are staying in the rooms and whether they're out or day or spend time on the terrace. IT's a good location, only a short walk from the old town but you have to climb about 500 stairs as it's on top of the hill looking over Dubrovnik. Cooking Facilities are good!

The owners of the apartment were very nice and friendly with us. The room and the other facilities were very clean. Great location, just 10 minutes walking from the Old Town. If I go to Dubrovnik again, I will repeat for sure!
