Francesca was an absolute doll. She was so beyond helpful and kind. The place itself is unbelievably charming and quaint. Just be sure to make sure you arrive at exactly the time you say you're coming as they do not have staff there 24/7.

My girlfriend and I stayed in a few hostels and I must say this Hostel felt more like a B and B. Very clean, 5 min walk from the Colosseum and Metro. I would recommend this to Hostel to everyone. They work hard to make you feel welcome and help you get around Rome. I would stay there again and in fact can't wait until the next time.

The owner is nice she gave us a map and showed us places to go. The place is okay however the toilet goes through long periods of time where it doesnt flush. The place also requires you to open 3 doors with a key to get in which would be fine if they worked properly, but the keys are very outdated and sometimes it took a good ten minutes of 3 of us fumbling with it to open the door. Very stingy and cheap breakfast. Sheets smelled musty and not the cleanest.

It was a little tricky to find, but the the lady who greeted us was lovely and the room was clean and tidy and we both felt very welcome and would 100% return :) :)

We stayed here for a couple of nights, and it didn't seem enough. The amazing time we had was made possible by staying in somewhere as nice, and close, as this. A walk from the central station, and around the corner from the Colleseum, we couldn't ask for more. Even when we decided to stay a little longer and the place was booked out, the host helped us instantly with finding another nice place. Definitely would come back!

Our stay at Ape Latina was very enjoyable. Francesca is a great host and this B&B is a great option if you are looking for a more intimate stay than a hotel. The room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Also having local recommendations from our host was very helpful when choosing restaurants and attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

Francesca was very friendly. But only problem is we waited so long for laundry. We were tired so we have to sleep on dirty pillows or smt. Room was good. Wireless and hot water are great opportunities for the room.Francesca told us we can use kitchen as we want. We bought something to eat but then we realize there is no kitchen equipment.Anyway all the rest was good.Especially location is great!!! If I will go to Rome again.I will probably stay in Ape Latina

Ok, great little place, great feeling and great value, I'm having a but of culture shock from what Italians call breakfast but at least there was fresh fruit. The only real problem is that our toilet was so squished into the bathroom that you have to sit sideways. Otherwise it's amazing, great location, lovely staff, cute decor, towel included. If you are staying there go to Panella, a bakery just around the corner, its an amazing cultural experience, especially just before dinner time!

There is not a better place to stay in Rome if your are traveling in a couple. Very near the Colosseum and from markets. The room is very big and very comfortable.

Very good Hostel for a week or less in Rome, great great Location, very clean, nice rooms. The only thing to say is that breakfast was very tiny, and there is no place to sit down, but its not a big deal. I would recommend it

The hostel is more a small flat with 3 rooms. We booked for 7 persons so we had the whole flat for us, which was perfect. Francesca and Andrea were very friendly and helpful. Ristorante Romantica Via Emanuele Filiberto, 52 was a good place to eat nearby. In one room the bathroom is very small and in another room there is just a curtain between the bathroom and the sleeping room. But all in all great value for money!

GREAT ,AMAZING ,EXCELLENT !!! Great location, very friendly staff and perfect value for money. We stayed at Ape Latina for 4 nights with my girlfriend and we loved it . Francesca was a funny charming woman which explained us almost everything we needed to know . Andrea the landlord was very nice guy tho. We would definitely love to stay at Ape Latina again and again . Please note that there's no a reception so you will need to arrange an exact hour of your arrival to collect the keys !
