The staff were very helpful in planning our super-tight schedule in Split. They even arranged for a day trip to Plitvice lakes. If it wasn't for them, getting to Plitvice and back on the same day would've been a nightmare! The guys who drove us to Plitvice were really nice. So we got to enjoy beautiful locations and good conversation during the journey. :)

We rented one of the studio apartments down stairs from the hostel. This apartment was excellent. It had a queen bed with a single fold out. All newly renovated. Excellent bathroom. TV mounted to the wall with a connected PC for browsing the net. Cupboard space and a kitchenette with fridge and kettle. The staff are excellent and the hostel is very well maintained and extremely clean. The second best hostel I have ever stayed in! From the train station cross the tracks and walk three mins.

Hands down one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! Very good location, friendly staff, very clean, and small. There are only 10 people total in the hostel at a time, so sharing the kitchen and bathroom is easy. We stayed in the twin room and we had our own computer with free internet, TV, and a disco ball!! And the restaurant a few shops down, Bistro Toc, was AMAZING. Unless you are looking for a place to party, this is a perfect hostel for anyone.

We loved our little apartment. A super clean place and only a short walk away from the Diocletian's Palace.

The room we stayed at Apinelo hostel was more like a studio room than a hostel room. It had great facilities like your own PC, TV, AC, big comfortable bed and it is a breath away from all the city major attractions. We really liked our stay there. The only drawback I can refer is that the room is at the same level with the road so someone it might feel a bit unsafe.

We booked an apartment for two people and were pleasantly surprised with how nice the rooms were. The hostel itself is in an isolated area off the main strip in Split, so we originally had our doubts. However the room was beautiful, the amenities were basically a luxury for the price we paid in comparison to other hostels, and the staff were very helpful and easygoing. I would stay here again.

Very nice place, and very easy to find

I would appreciate being able to lock my room, but the huge locker and front desk right outside the room doors made up for this. Kitche was small but adequate, and the shower was bigger once you were inside it.n

Small hostel with lots of perks! Comfortable beds, new furniture, big lockers/wardrobes, individual lights and plugs at each bed, wifi everywhere, computers available. Very friendly and helpful staff give lots of info when you arrive and are willing/able to answer any question. Next door to a supermarket. The private room has its own flat screen tv/computer with a wireless keyboard and mouse, and a disco ball! I ran out of hot water in the girls shower twice, but the boys shower worked fine.

A nice little hostel, close to the centre yet tucked away in a secluded street. Close to supermarket also. Great facilities. Staff are really nice, no 24 hour reception, but not really an issue as its very small and security is fine. We would definately stay here again! Also beds - amazing!!!

It was my first stay in Croatian hostel and it was so lovely. Staff took care of us really well: they've recommended places to go and to see which has helped a lot. Also they've found all the additional info we need. The place seems really new, so you will enjoy pretty new everything - from plates to shower. Moreover, they keep the place very clean! Love it, that they take care of it so well. Location is perfect! The main street "Riva" is located 5min away by feet!

We stayed here during the off season and had a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place is kept very clean, and our twin room was perfect. The dorms looked spacious as well. It was a great location from the main bus station, and less than 5 minutes into the palace or onto the promenade. Only problem may be having to wait for a shower if the hostel was full in summer, however not a problem for us! We recommend this hostel.

We had a lovely stay at Apinelo! It's a small hostel (not a party place, but perfect to relax), only a five-minute walk from the train and bus station as well as the old town. Our room, the double-room, is super cozy (we loved the disco ball!), beds are comfortable and the entire place is impeccably clean. The kitchen is well-equipped and also servs as a common room, including a big flat screen TV. Staff was great, very accommodating, helpful and kind. I highly recommend staying there!

I really enjoyed my stay at Apinelo Hostel!!! The location is amazing, its a 5 minute walk from the main Train/Bus station, and about the same time to the major thing to see in the city. The hostel was clean and the rooms were great! I stayed 2 nights there, and the staff was not there a lot: guess it's because it wasn't the high season. But for the time they were there, they were really friendly and helpful! There is a grocery store right beside the hostel which is also great!
