This is definitely the best YHA hostel I ever stayed in. Amazing staff, super friendly. Good location, clean rooms and great facilities add up to a grand stay in one of Australia's best hostels. Totally recommended!

Good kitchen facilities and I like their commitment to recycling and being responsible to the environment.

This hostel was lovely and all the facilities were great. I thought paying for bag storage was a bit out of order though.

I really love this place. I stayed here last year and loved it so much I actually came back and brought my mom -- which is a pretty big deal for a hostel. It's super-clean, the owners are very friendly, and the whole place is just stunning. Feels more like your rich eco-conscious uncle's house in the Hamptons or something than a hostel. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else on the great ocean road!

I really loved this hostel. The design and environmentally friendly features are impressive. Unfortunately we booked on hostel world but that info wasn't communicated to well with the hostel and they were full for 1 of the 2 nights we booked. They did organise to set us up in another (sub-par) hostel sort of near by but the didn't bother to tell us until we checked in at 5:30. We would have checked in earlier but reception is closed all afternoon. It is a nice place to stay but ring ahead!!!!

A really nice hostel in a really nice town, I only stayed one night but it was the second best hostel I stayed in during my whole stay in Australia. The couple that run the hostel are really friendly and helpful and the whole place is very clean. The only (very minor) issue I had was that the WiFi signal did not reach as far as my room, but apart from that excellent!

Lovely hostel, clearly very new and deserves the rave reviews. However as a couple in a double room we stayed in B&Bs with kitchen facilities and private bathrooms on the Great Ocean Road for cheaper, so didn't gain anything from staying in a hostel. It was very quiet which you don't expect but it looked like there were a lot of activities available to people on request, but there never seemed to be anyone around to ask!
