Irina and the other staff are great, so helpful and friendly! The hostel is a really good location, right in the heart of St. Petes. The dorms are a bit cramped but the great kitchen and lovely staff make up for this. Could do with putting things to hold the shower head in place in though.

This hostel is in a great location! Kate and Irina are awesome. If Kate checks you in, don't let her impeccable English fool you into thinking the rest of St. Petersburg is the same way...it's not. I was in Apple Hostel 2 which is around the corner. It had 2 bathrooms- each with a shower, sink, and toilet. The showers don't always drain well, but that's easily fixed. Both toilets sit up on a raised platform about 6 inches off the floor. Not a problem unless your short bc your feet dangle.

Staying at the Apple Hostel was great! My friends and I had a great stay in St. Petersburg and this hostel was very well located with really friendly and helpful staff, especially Julia and Kate! Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this city.

Apple Hostel is one of the best hostels I have stayed at! The LOCATION IS AMAZING! In the best part of St. Petersburg, right downtown. Hotels across the street are $500 a night - you pay SUCH a low price for the same location. Safe, fun, amazing hostel. Plus - THE STAFF!!!! Lulia, Oksana, Nastya, Katya - these girls are amazing and made my stay perfect. I would recommend this hostel to ANYONE! I will be back for sure.

I've never stayed such a friendly hostel! I think this hostel is the most friendly hostel I've ever stayed! Staffs are so kind that I could chat and exchanged some experiences with them. I would recommend everybody to go there if somebody are considering to stay St. Petersburg. Thanks for everything!

didnt like the matresses

This is a really good Hostel. The stuff was the best that I had ever seen. The facilities are good, but if we compare with the other Hostel from Moscow it is worse. The bed is also a bit unconfortable.

Good location, friendly staff and wonderful environment!

I enjoyed so much my stay at Apple Hostel. I've been traveling Europe a lot and stayed in many hostels but this one was the one where I felt most welcomed. Amazing staff! I don't usually write any reviews but I though this one was worth mentioning. Special thanks to one administrator called Katia who was super helpful. The location is very good, the rooms are confortable and the shower was good and hot. They gave me a map straight away and pointed me where to go, how to get there, etc. Great!

It's a great place in terms of location. However, during my stay there were few times that the water heater did not work. But overall is good. Staffs were super nice.

Hostel Apple Italy in St. Petersburg is the place to stay if you looking for a taste of local culture, extra friendly and helpful staff (Oksana rocks!) and central location close to all the sights and museums. The English speaking staff was always available to answer any questions I had concering public transport and things to do in the evening. They even arranged a taxi to meet me at the train station in Moscow to take me to the airport! Best staff I've experienced in a hostel! Two thumbs up!
