Hard to find-just off the street it says it's on with small sign. Staff were mixed-Esp when asking about registering visas (THEY WILL NOT REGISTER YOU) and tried to charge us 3000 rubles to do it. Olga however is amazing-very friendly, great English and took us ice skating. Great kitchen, and other facilities are there but all VERY cramped. Only 2 toilets/3showers for approx 40 people. Bedrooms also cramped but nice beds. Very clean-cleaner there 24/7. Fantastic location-10 mins from Kremlin.
It is quite difficult to find, but the rest is fine. Nice and very helpful staff and clean facilities
De rented a room for 6 people, even than se were 4, to have some privacy. That didn't happen at all. Because there was no keys to lock the door, people were coming inside all the time ( they didn't even knock the door before coming in) to pick thing from the lockers... We spoke with one person of the staff who didn't want to understand that that situation was not reasional. So people kept coming inside the two days that we staid in. As you can imagine we were not happy at all.

Perfect location. Staff is very helpful and most of them speak English very well. Rooms and Bathrooms are very clean.
Good value for Moscow. Btw, in terms of hosteling, they could improve much more ..
i had a great time in Apple Hostel. Very warm rooms, 24 hours staff at the reception, very near to Red Square, shared kitchen, and also cheap price.....just great !!!! what a backpacker needs more ?

It was a lovely hostel, small rooms but warm athmosphere. The heating was good compared to other hostels, you could stay in wearing shorts in winter!
Felt more like an apartment than a hostel with many of the people staying there being people from Moscow who were living there for a long period of time. They often got annoyed at backpackers and this didn't help atmosphere. Decent size kitchen, lounge and rooms. Wouldn't stay there again but decent enough.
great location and great staff, but crowded hostal, rooms and toilets.
perfect location. staff is very helpful. you'll probably feel home. can recommend to anyone planning to stay in Moscow.
Good hostel, great location in Moscow, just a few blocks from Red Square, and lots of bars in the neighbourhood. The staff is really helpful and nice, ant the place is super clean. Strange atmosphere, many people seem to be living there, but cool anyway!. The one thing I would change is putting up a sign or sticker or something al the door, really hard to find!!
Great place, amazing staff who are super friendly and helpful.
Place has amazing location with awesome restaurants and nightlife nearby.
Staff is awesome. They are very friendly and willing to help us. And location is the BEST!!!
veri good location and very friendly staff ( women are very beautiful)
The staff is super helpfull and nice all the time. Thank you all! But toilets are not enough for all people and they are always busy. Also there was a guy working in the hostel who was always behaving as if the place was his and he always leave the doors open, or just listening to music in the same room people was sleeping. Complete lack of respect and annoying. But besides that, excellent. Ps: mafia sucks!!
It did what it said on the tin. In a great location but a bit hard to find at 2am, saying that the staff where nice and friendly, it was clean and warm and they let me hang around even after I had checked out. Good hostel
Location and Staff were great. But, it was overcrowded, rooms are not big enough for 6 people and some guests seems to be living there. That was weird. They were around all the time. Just 2 bathrooms for more than 30 people, not good math! But to be honest, were always clean.
I didn't like the atmosphere and even though I generally sleep very easily, the hostel was quite noisy and I kept waking up during the night. The staff was very nice and helpfull in the end, although in the beggining they were a bit rude. It's not a good hostel in my opinion, but I have friends that went to 2 other hostels and also had a lot of complains so maybe this one is a good option. Location is perfect and I would come back just for price/location.
Simple, neat and tidy hostel. Cleaners constantly on the go. Short walk to Red Square, staff generally helpful. Would not have a problem staying here again when in Moscow.
