100% would stay here again. Location is good & central. Good Lounge/Kitchen for socializing. Was in a 10 bed dorm, very clean surprised to have a new towel/bed made each day. Staff were the best, very friendly and helpful! Was in Moscow for only 4 days, arrived at 7am quite tired, they found me a bed to sleep in prior to check in. Gave me heaps of suggestions. It was raining on my last day and they lent me their umbrella for the day so I didn't have to buy one. Special thanks to Liza and July ;)
I felt the accommodation was too cramped. My 6 bed room really only had space for 4 but they were rammed in. Not enough bathroom facilities and because of a serious leak in one bathroom, it was down to the bare limit. Also, although I only heard this from a fellow traveller, but there were a large group of people staying there, who were obviously together. They seemed to take over the place and possibly they were staying there long term??
Apartment style hostel in a great location, ten minutes from Red Square with shops, restaurants very near. Good sized kitchen but small shower/toilet. Eight bedded dorm felt quite 'compact' but everyone was respectful of space and noise. Common room is small and serves largely as a room to hold luggage / younger travellers passed out asleep on couches or playing music from laptops. Staff are very friendly and very helpful.
This is my first time to Moscow, and I will definitely stay there again in my next visit. All friendly staffs making the hostel like a home! Thanks Apple Hostel! Just... Please party with the door closed XD
Had an amazing stay at this hostel, the staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful! The location is amazing, a 10 minute walk from the Kremlin and 5 minutes from a supermarket, the facilities are great, especially the kitchen and the people are amazing!
Amazing location and phenomenal staff -- although the quarters are a bit cramped.
The perfect place to stay in Moscow. An excelent hostel.
The staff really make the place. Lisa and co were amazing! Thank you so much for your hospitality and info in Moscow!
Wow, where to start? On arrival I was practically ignored by the rude receptionist. My Kindle was taken from my bed and left in 'lost property' by staff. The cleaners randomly distribute items that arent' in your bag, so I realised after I left that my expensive martial arts gear has also disappeared. I came back at 3:00am one night, rang the bell for 30 minutes without being admitted, so I had to find emergency couchsurfing accommodation. Receptionist didn't seem to care about this. Stay away.
It was easy to find. But unfortunatly we couldn't get in, because we didn't know, where and how to ring the bell. So we had to wait untill somebody came out. Aside of that we had a good time in Apple Hostel. Staff is friendly but it was a little chaotic. Seems that they overbooked there rooms. Two guys had to sleep one night in another hostel untill they got a free bed again. They only got repaid the night in Apple Hostel, but had to pay for the other hostel...
Location is great, but after six days here I was more than ready to leave. The trouble started as soon as I arrived when they lost my booking. I was then hassled for payment after I was told I could go and withdrawal money from an ATM. On numerous occasions they overbooked the hostel and had to kick two people out of their beds, one person at 3am. There are a number of long term guests who use the computers in the dorms at all hours of the day and the cleaner is constantly moving your belongings
Not sure why this gets such good reviews, perhaps it is one of the better hostels in Moscow but still is far off many of the other hotels I've stayed in throughout Europe. Staff not always friendly, there are 2 toilets for the entire hostel which is overcrowded, noisy at night time, had staff come into room and switch on light at 3am because they had stuffed up bookings; a common occurrence. Also cleaner comes in everyday and moves your stuff!!!
We stayed for four nights with our kids at Apple in Moscow. The staff were great and the location can't be beaten. It gt pretty crowded sometimes when people are waiting to leave and new backpackers are arriving but you can expect that anywhere in a popular destination. There were a few drunken idiots like usual and maybe drinking rules need to be looked at more. Thanks guys!
I spent so good time in the hostel the stuff people are amazing and the atmosphere is perfect to relax and at the same time to have fun you should try this hostel!!
The staff was great, very helpful and always friendly. The rooms and the showers were cleaned regularly. The only thing that could improve is the number of toilets and showers - we almost always had to wait for them. Otherwise the kitchen is well equipped and the atmosphere is very nice.
Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Close to metro.
The best hostel that I have ever stayed in, The staff is awesome, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again! ...LIZA is the BEST!!
I stayed in a 10 beds dorm. It was too small for 10 people, there wasn't room even for the luggage. It is very good located, close to a metro station and in a walking distance to Kremlim and Red Square.
Guys, you are awesome! I didn't want to spend evenings and nights outside, hostel already is the fun spot. One more very important thing for me - hostel is very clean, comparing to places I've visited already. Thank you! definitely would come back
A lovely Palace to stay in Moscow. I would totally come back.
