Location was ok, it is close to major train station and metro. No free apple or map on arrival and only 50% of the staff were good.
No real kitchen and no noise management with people using hairdryers at 5am and loud radios in the showers late at night and early in the morning, the hostel is not big and sound travels well through the thin walls.

I recommend this hostel because of it's staff and because of its location in central St Petersburg. The hostel is close to rail station to Moscow and next to the subway station. Any problems I had with finding something in the city were resolved by the staff. A great place to stay. Among many many hostels in Europe and Asia I had been to throughout last several years, THIS WAS MY BEST HOSTEL-EXPERIENCE so far. Perfect location with an amazing view on the whole Nevsky prospect from the balcony, spacious rooms, clean massage-showers even with radio, all 4 administrators I' ve met are very friendly, helpful and cool young people. Every evening it was like returning home for me... All of it for reasonable price. I`ve lived there for 2 weeks and I felt as at home. Staff was very helpful, and nice. They give you thousands of information and help you for every problem. There is a lady cleaning everyday, so the hostel is very clean. good location, near pubs and the centre, and price too is very appropriate.I`ve lived there for 2 weeks and I felt as at home.
