It's a very good hostel. But sometimes u have to wait for Soooo long for an elevator.
the location is perfect. the hostel is quite old and the rooms are really small and not so comfortable (especially when the aircon fan is old and really noisy...). the building is old and full of immigrants but looks in general safe. this place is ok if you are brave enough and want to save money and sleep in the city center
Everything was very good. I had housekeeping almost every day. So, the room was clean. The size of the rom was small but you can hardly find bigger room in Hong Kong for this price. the location is perfect. very close to all tourist attraction. The staff was friendly and helpful. You have to wait some time for the elevatior downstairs but it was not really a problem.
The room is far too small. There is hardly any space to even put the luggage. The shower has no curtain and water splashed everywhere all over the bathroom because the shower and toilet are all in one. It's clean enough though and the location is very good. I guess if you are looking for something cheap and just a bed (I mean it is just a bed ! ) then it's this is much better hostel then some of the ones that I have been.
My 3rd time visiting this hostel! Excellent!
The staff is really kind and helpful. The place is a regular TST guesthouse which means small rooms, noisy environment, and crowded area but that is also part of HK travelling charm. Special mention for the staff ;)
Hostel staff were very friendly and helpful. The only real downside to the hostel was having battle through Chung King Mansions and wait for the very slow lift. The alternative was the horrible, dirty stairwell. Once you were in the hostel it was fine. Good location for sightseeing and public transport. Dodgy building with a few shady characters hanging around. Wouldn't recommend for women on their own. The room was clean and serviced every day but it was small.

It's gotten pretty shabby over there. Needs an update in the worst way.
Pros: Accessibility to MTR, shopping district, some tourist spots. Great, accommodating, and courteous staff. Cons: It is in Chungking Mansions. Need I say more? :) Overall, satisfied with my stay. If you're out looking for a place to crash after a whole day of shopping and sightseeing, I recommend this place.
the room was very tiny but also very very clean, so a good option for a short stay in hongkong. the staff was very nice! thanks a lot!! the only bad thing was the building in which the hostel is located. the line in front of the elevator was annoying and i also didn't feel safe all the time, travelling alone as a woman and returning to the building at night
The ladies who run this hostel are great and they keep it super clean. The room was small but well designed with a high bed so plenty of room to store luggage underneath. The wifi was very fast. Chungking Mansions itself is a bit crazy but seemed safe, and the only noise in our room was from air conditioners in the alley at the side of the building. AC worked fine and having a kettle in the room was a nice touch. Highly recommended for a budget stay in a central location.
