Nice place, but as only guest in dorm room. Very Quite. Has nice outer building but all seem closed. Good palce to head up to see High Tatras
The hostel is cozy and homey and the staff are very friendly. The 7 person dorm is nice, and it has it's own little kitchen and small lounge area with TV, which is great. They don't give free breakfast or towels, and it's noisy when people are on the floor above you (not to mention a rooster crows constantly in the morning), but those are just the few, small downsides. This really was one of the best hostels I've stayed in, though. Great facilities, very nice staff, and very cozy!
No one was there when I arrived, had to use int'l cell phone minutes to call them and then wait a while for someone to unlock it, even with a reservation. Very clean but sparce place.
It's very close to Aqualand but a bit far from the mountains.
Nice dorm with its own kitchen/sitting area and bathroom. Pretty quiet at this time of year. Could have done with a bit more info about the hikes that you can do - though if you are interested in this, just get the electric rail up into the mountains and their tourist info places should be helpful.
Milan is a great host! He is kind, outgoing and helpful with places to visit as he is very experienced! His place is lovely and the area is very quiet. Relaxing place. Close to train station 10min walk and tatras mountain is 30mins by train and Slovak paradise national park is about 20-30mins by car. Good service will recommend
Nice hostel. It has every thing you need. A little bit far from the train station.
We had a fantastic stay at aqualand, it was within walking distance to the train station to take us up to the tatra mountains for hiking. The accomodation itself was very cosy, it almost felt like you were staying in a cabin. The owner Milano, is an absolute legend, so friendly and accommodating, even set up the barbecue for us in the garden so we could cook sausages in the evenings with a beer after a long hike. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed my stay at Aqualand. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. It also had a lovely little garden. A great place to stay after a long days hike in the mountains!
A very nice and good value stay for hilking the Tatras. Runned by a nice family located just 15 min walk from the trainstation!
This hotel/hostel is a useful base for trips to the mountains and other nearby attractions. The lodgings themselves are nothing special and the breakfast is overpriced (5€ for a standard mediocre hotel breakfast is too much), but they provide a discount for the huge Aquacity swimming and sauna center next door, which is nice after a day of hiking (take the "Vital" option to get into all the different saunas).
