A bit of a walk from the town and station but no great hardship. If you're going to AquaCity it's very close.
Staff was very friendly! I arrived very early in the morning, and they gave me a bed to rest, and I could taken a shower. Very well located, near Tatras Mountains, which are definitely a place to go. Atmosphere is also very good!
Amazing hostel with very friendly staff. I wanted to stay an extra night and they were very accommodating even though the hostel was full. Would highly recommend.
They could do with some personal lock-up cupboards. For clothing an personal items. The room is secure, But extra security would be nice.
It's a brilliant mix between a hotel and a hostel (explains why it is a more expensive). Friendly staff, a pay-extra breakfast that is actually worth paying extra for and access to a nice garden in the backyard.
We had a great stay at aqualand, it is more of a hotel than a hostel but suited us perfectly. The staff were excellent, recommended us some walks in the high Tatras. One man (possibly the owner) was very friendly, filled up anything missing from breakfast and even bought it to our table, and as we were leaving he gave us a lift to the train station - fantastic service!
EXCELLENT reception went above and beyond to help plan two days in the High Tatras and Slovensky Ran national park. Was small and intimate but not overcrowded. Facilities : no microwave or laundry, basic hot plate on a toadter oven was provided and a couple pots but dont anticipate a full kitchen space. Check the map for a short cut from the train station as we didn't.. it was a bit of a hike with out packs.
Really nice staff! And a cosy place to relax and close to the train station.
