It's very close to Aqualand but a bit far from the mountains.
Nice dorm with its own kitchen/sitting area and bathroom. Pretty quiet at this time of year. Could have done with a bit more info about the hikes that you can do - though if you are interested in this, just get the electric rail up into the mountains and their tourist info places should be helpful.
Milan is a great host! He is kind, outgoing and helpful with places to visit as he is very experienced! His place is lovely and the area is very quiet. Relaxing place. Close to train station 10min walk and tatras mountain is 30mins by train and Slovak paradise national park is about 20-30mins by car. Good service will recommend
Nice hostel. It has every thing you need. A little bit far from the train station.
We had a fantastic stay at aqualand, it was within walking distance to the train station to take us up to the tatra mountains for hiking. The accomodation itself was very cosy, it almost felt like you were staying in a cabin. The owner Milano, is an absolute legend, so friendly and accommodating, even set up the barbecue for us in the garden so we could cook sausages in the evenings with a beer after a long hike. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed my stay at Aqualand. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. It also had a lovely little garden. A great place to stay after a long days hike in the mountains!
A very nice and good value stay for hilking the Tatras. Runned by a nice family located just 15 min walk from the trainstation!
This hotel/hostel is a useful base for trips to the mountains and other nearby attractions. The lodgings themselves are nothing special and the breakfast is overpriced (5€ for a standard mediocre hotel breakfast is too much), but they provide a discount for the huge Aquacity swimming and sauna center next door, which is nice after a day of hiking (take the "Vital" option to get into all the different saunas).
Great place to catch your breath and relax. Very mellow hostel, only one other person staying in my dorm room which is more like a suite, there is the bedroom and a living room/kitchenette. Location was fairly close to the train station but not in the center if town, you'll be walking a bit to do anything. Girl working was very friendly and happy to help answer questions about the area/best modes of transportation. Very flexible with check out. "Lockers" didn't lock, but still felt very safe!
Very sweet and wonderful staff. Domanika helped me tremendously with my hiking plans and transport/accomadation logistics to my next destination. Hotel was ver easy to find with very clean and new facilities -the owner is currently building a sauna room for future guests!
So the place make you believe you get breakfast and a pool etc when you check on the hostelworld page... YOU DONT. Breakfast is 5 buck if i recall, and the pool/spa etc is the aqua park accross the river (50m) but you have to pay 15-20 to get in per day. very misleading. otherwise nice enough place but expensive for what it is.
