Cracking hostel, cracking people. Just great

Pretty cool hostel, centrally located. Front desk staff pretty cold most of the time. But it is good for a few nights.

Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone.

Was only there for 2 days but I had a rad time

Excellent atmosphere, great bar with cheap drinks and events every night until about 11. Location is ideal, everywhere is walkable, no shuttle services required. People mark them down for security because nobody bothers to lock the dorms but they have lockers so I didn't care. Great staff!

perfect location, very central. staff made big effort to convince people in the nightly activities which were fun. cheap bar. however I was in an 8 bed dorm with a private twin attached, so all 10 of us only had 1 loo and shower to share. cafe pruces, like most of Byron, were too much for my backpacker budget but the hostels grill was more affordable.

Door constantly open, felt very insecure. Woman comes in everyone's room at 9 taking any alcohol or just generally dampening the mood. 10 minute walk from the bars down a street with no street lights. Room was spacious and patio was nice but not worth the money.

Great social hostel! Friendly staff

I was gonna stay here for 5 days and ended up staying 2 weeks. If I had more time I would have stayed here even longer. Amazing hostel, enjoyed every second over here!

Kitchen got dirty over the course of the day the fridge was not great - it was so hard to put stuff in there and get it out the pool and common areas were good and there was lots organised in this evenings the rooms just have fans, no air con, so hot at night!

Great hostel for location. Right next to the beach. Fantastic cafe, bar food delicious and cheap. Ate their all day everyday. Discounts on all food and drinks! Just what you need. Most sociable hostel in Byron. Everyone from other hostels came here to hang out! Rooms basic and not very clean although cleaned daily (made no difference) sand layered the floors however good outweighed the bad. Definately stay here again! Loved it!

Great central location and the attached restaurant with discounts has some good eating. Staff not aways the most helpful... Many act like they been at it too long. The dorms are spacious!

Slept in an all girls dorm, which was really nice. Had some issues with cleaning as it got very dirty with the showers because of all the sand. Also didn't like that the doors to the room were never locked, but security felt high and I was never scared of loosing my stuff. Also they provide lockers which is good

Really enjoyed my stay at Aquarius in Byron Bay and would definitely recommend it to others interested. Close to restaurants, shops and beach as all are onky minutes walking distance :-)

Great place to stay. They have their own bar with a decent menu and something on every night. Rooms are good and clean!

Huuuge party hostel, really good vibevibe, few minutes stroll and your on the beach

This is one of the worst hostels we've stayed in over 7 months of travelling. The rooms were dirty, extremely noisy at night ('quiet time after 10pm' doesn't happen) and the doors were always open to the room. Cockroaches in bathroom that the 'cleaner' ignored. During the night people were jumping over the fence behind the dorms. A girl brought a random guy back to our dorm and when it was reported (while he was still in her bed) nothing happened. Avoid this hostel if you can. Wifi is not free.

They have different events and food specials in the bar every night which were great! Also a super deck area with hammocks. Only bad thing was main access to the room was through the bar and that locks at 6:30pm. After that you have to go around the building to get to your room.

The hostel it's self is nice, good facilities nice food and good bar. Discounts are ok too and food deals on the evening. Cafe for breakfast was nice. My issue was being in a dorm with long term stayers, their stuff was everywhere. No room for my stuff. The room was pretty horrible.
