Stayed here for two nights in a 10 bed dorm, absolutely loved the hostel. Really clean, great facilities and close to the beach (everywhere in Byron is). Best thing about this hostel was the rooms which were lovely and big and the roof top hammocks. Staff weren't as involved in the 'hostel life' as some other places I've stayed but that's just the way the place is run. Overall a really good place to stay and would recommend.
First person in reception was very helpful. The second was so rude and mouthy. Couldn't find hardly any kitchen equipment besides frying pans (plates etc for hire in recept.). Booked what we thought was a private private room but it was just a bed through a door off the dorm room.
Nice hostel. Dorm rooms are two stories so not crowded. Messy kitchen but immaculate in the mornings. Deposit for cutlery. Nice common areas with TV cable, pool table, pool, hammocks. Would stay again for sure!
Nice place. Best 10 bed dorm I've stayed in. The bathrooms get pretty filthy with 10 girls in there but the rooms are two story so it's a very spacious dorm otherwise! Security is decent at night because they have a guard buttt anyone from the hostel can come into your room at any time because no one locks the doors. Good common areas with TVs and pool tables. Paid internet doesn't work in some rooms.
This hostel is the cleanest I've been to! It's spacious, there's a swimming pool, ping pong tables, pool table, hammocks. All rooms have their own bathroom and shower as well as a balcony. Loved it!
It was a great accomodation. A very big kitchen, clean rooms, very spacious, and a big hostel area, partly open-air. Quite quick wi-fi, unfortunately not for free.
Staff was not very polite. They didnt even look at us when we walked by. Location was good but it was VERY DIRTY (10 people and one shower/toilet!!!!)
we stayed in a double room, we didn't expect it to be in a dorm room but it was good to have a bathroom there.
Good place to stay, facilities are ok. It's not ok that they charge for Wify access and could improve a lot cleanliness of the dorm rooms.
Really good atmosphere at the hostel. Very clean considering all the people who stayed there. One of the receptionists were not very friendly. They pick you up at the busstop and drive you back for free if you ask for it. Good service.
The hostel was really nice, but there wasn't a lot going on. Given, we were in the off season and only there for 2 nights. We waited for the bus most of one evening and were able to use the facilities for free and shower which was great!
Friendly staff. Great beds. Nice rooms. Perfect location. Perfect hostel.

DO NOT STAY HERE. When reported to reception that they had mice in their kitchen and it had eaten through our food, we were told by the charming receptionist that there was nothing they could do and that she would "pass on the message" to the manager. Charged $20 for a key per person, $20 for a plate/cutlery set to eat your own food and $30 FOR THE TV REMOTE, JUST TO CHANGE CHANNELS. Staffs attitudes are also appalling towards guests. Worst hostel ever.
Bar closed now so not much to recommend it other than location. Think it's expensive for what it offers. Cheaper and more secure options nearby.
