The Hostel was beautiful, and our room was MUCH nicer than we expected! The bathrooms were clean and smelled great. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast was really good!

Just a 10 minute walk or so to the subway station Stellingen, and from there 10 min in to the city center! The hostel looked more like a hotel, which was good. The breakfast was very good also. A nicely designed room to eat in with some background music.

Arcade-Hostel is very serious about cleanliness. They clean the rooms everyday, and you won't find a single dust in the room! It's about less than 10 minutes walk to the local station, and another 10 minutes or less train ride into the city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. We forgot and left behind some papers and documents in our room after checking out, and after our request via phone, the staff promptly posted the documents to us. Thank you so much to the lovely receptionist!

Great parking possibilities. The only downside to this hostel is the 15min walk to the u-bahn. Guess its not a big deal unless you travel to the center and back many times each day.

It was more than a Hotel than a Hostel, but still the same price! Good stay!

It is more like a 3-star hotel than a hostel! Very cozy room with a TV set, a desk and a shower (shared toilet). Also a very good restaurant for breakfast, which they have a great variety of food. It is in a quiet neighborhood, a little far from the city centre, but S-bahn, U-bahn stations and a bus stop are all in walking distances. The Wi-fi signal in room is not stable though.

A very nice stay for a very little price. We stayed there for two nights and were very satisfied. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast for 6 € is recommendable.

It looks like a hotel not like a hostel. Well equipped, very clean, very quiet. Two bed rooms are perfect for couples. You can easily reach with s-bahn, and it much more cheaper than other hostels in downtown. But if you don't mind walking, it's not a big trip from Altona Station or Hbf. Oosterstraße is the best choice to buy anything what you need. Next time i go to Hamburg, i know where will i sleep.

Really enjoed staying there, it's not really a hostel, it was like a hotel to us! We stayed in private room with 2 beds and it was extremely cool! we even had a TV! Really guite place, exactly what we needed after very loud RHCP concert :) A walking distancse from O2 arena, so you can enjoy the concert and than without spending too much money of taxi, return to your place :)

The location is a bit far from city center. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is very nice and clean. We all loved it. The services were excellent at that price.

We were just looking for a cheap spot in germany and this was it, except much better than I expected. The hostel itself is more hotel like but very welcoming and accomadating. It is right down the street from a food market and a nice restaurant/bar called the Hollywood canteen which was delicious. Having only spent a few days, I can't say much on the immediate area but we did need to take buses everywhere! However, the public trans system is much better than I've experienced in other countries.
