We just stayed for 2 nights in a 6-bed dorm and it was great! And with the balcony at the rooftop u have a beautiful view over Istanbul! really nice! If I come again to Istanbul, i will come back to this hostel EVERYTHING WAS GREAT

It´s a great hostel. You have free wifi connection all over the hostel, towels are included in the rate, laundry service (i guess you have to pay an extra fee, i haven´t use it), a nice terrace and a kitchen to prepare your own food. Breakfast is not included in the rate. Even though, the price is excellent in relation with the service provided. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hostel 100%! Thank you for the great stay there!

This was by far the best hostel I stayed at in Istanbul, it was great value for the money, exceptionally clean, and helpful staff. We went to another hostel for one night and decided to come back, our experience was too good to pass it up again. The hostel is smaller so it is easier to make friends, I will recommend this to any of my friends that come to Istanbul.

It was a clean and warm place. Has a homelike feeling and the terrace is beautiful.

I don't write too much comments but this place deserves a good rate. Staff is really friendly and helping. Location is convenient and in a very cool and safe neighbourhood called Cihangir. The hostel is thoughtfully designed, Rooms are spacy and cleaned every day. matresses are the best (i had the best sleep in my long trip), kitchen is well equipped and It has a peaceful roof terrace to hang out. Wi-fi and internet is for free and has good connection. laundry is 5 turkish liras which is fair.

excellent place. i was worried about cleanliness of hostels in turkey, however this was just like any western hostel ive stayed in if not better because of the friendliness and genuine concern by the staff for my safety. i couldnt afford the locker fee and they gave it to me for free. wonderful!!

A good value hostel with a well stocked kitchen and spacious rooms with their own bathrooms. Located close to Taksim square and Istiklal street so the location is great, though also due to its central location there was loud music playing well into the night that made it hard to sleep. One minus was that I came home on my first night to find a girl sleeping in my bed, as different staff had given us the same bed despite the fact that I had been sleeping in it most of the day. Bit disorganised.

Location is the best, its clean and staff is really friendly. i can recommend it

The worst hostel I've ever seen. On sunday they don't use to clean the rooms. The pillows are yellow, the sheets are really old and the completely clean and bathroom is full of humidity, with a shower with exposed concrete and a broken tap that that do not allow the use of the bathroom.Although this we should pay the full price of a room with bathroom. In Arch-ist you don't have any rights, you just have to pay. I preferred to change hostel!

It\s Ok. tough too noisy; the rooms that heads to the street *the one i slept at least*\ was to lightly * transparent curtains!!/ so with the sunrise and the sound coming from the street couldn;t sleep very much. the BIG bin outside of the room was UP TO THE TOP!!!

Be aware of heavy luggage when climbing the stairs, the hostel does not have lifts. It does not have internet connection in the room of 3rd floor, the signal is so weak that it does not count as connection. There is a bar very near with loud music most of the night. There is a mosque nearby calling for praying at 5:30h am. Not every staff talk or understand english.

The Arch-Ist-Hostel is a really nice, clean & local Hostel in Istanbul. The guys are nice & helpfull.

I had great time in Arch-ist hostel, I felt like I was at home, Great staff , great location . I will return to this hostel again :)

The hostel is clean and in very good located. The staff is very polite. Unfortunately one day I couldn't access the bathroom because it was locked from inside, one night we didn't have light, one day and night we didn't have water because of constructions and one night there was a loud party nearby, so I couldn't sleep. If you don't care so much about sleep I can only recomend you that place.

If you want an unpretentious hostel (not crowdy) in great and safe location (Near cihangir and 4-5 minutes from Taxim), with friendly staff, this is a very good choice!

It was excelent. stayed in the 6 beds room, its spacy and very clean. beds were really the best. the location and the common kitchen also very good. i really recommed it.
