Great location and great staff and have a nice terrace upstairs which is a big plus. i totally recommend

Good value for the money, but don't expect clean bathrooms or disinfected shower stalls. People who are sensitive to mildew need to be aware about this. 1)no air shaft to reduce mildew and 2) staff appear don't disinfect shower stalls on a regular basis.

great hostel, the best i've ssen in istanbul so far. it's small, clean and a very nice atmosphere. the staff is friendly and there was even a really nice girl from the staff who was fluent in german, thanks merve for everything!

The bad thing is a lot of noise. There is a night club and some bars close.

the staff was very unfriendly, not really helpfully and brought us to the false room. The bedroom was not very clean. In our room the beds of our predecessors weren't make. And the door of our room was broken, so it wasn't possible to close it..... the faciliites are good and the location also, but the staff is so unfriendly and the rooms not clean.... !! When I come to the hostel and the staff is sitting around and talking with friends than it isn't the right way to look after the guests.

common places are very friendly designed, kitchen and the living room is like a home, there is cool people and staff is also very helpful. our 6 beds room was spacy and clean. also location is perfect, there is a big carrefour that you can find everything. i will come back again!!

Very good little hostel. Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Bad points: initially hard to find ( look out for a green door without much signage) lots of steps. But overall 10/10 for every thing else.

Great stay there! I enjoyed it very much, absolutly recommendable!

Very good location for club, bar, restaurant. Room is clean. No elevator up to 5th floor. No wifi in a room, but only reception area.

i just want to say it is a perfect place PERFECTTTTTTT really very safe, very clean fantastic place staff is amazing if u want a hostel i think it is better than hotel next time i\'ll stay on this hostel again TAKE ADVICES TO TRANSPORTATION FROM STAFF it will save money for you istanbul amazing

Very good value for the money. The location is excellent, staff very helpful and you get to know many interesting people. Beds are very clean and comfortable. I strongly recommend the place!

Excellent location, the hostel looks a bit dodgy from the outside but the common room area and the rooms themselves were really nice. Beware, the 2 person double room is in the attic which means that you can't stand up in it although we thought that it was charming (although we were glad we were only in that room for 1 night). The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Our only problem was the shower in the 4 person room leaked water all over the floor.

the only negative thing i have to say is that the rooms can be very noisy: the ones at the back are just above a club that has an outdoor space, very noisy until 3am every night, even with earplugs. i'm guessing the rooms at the front are noisy with street traffic. otherwise the hostel is great.

very nice stay, but our 6 bed mixed dorm was lacking a proper door :P but nevertheless: thank you for a very nice stay at your hostel!

A relative new hostel on a perfect location. Nice staff, well equipped kitchen and the BEST MATTRESSES EVER!!

Extremely nice and helpful staff - lovely deco (loved the paintings on each door!), comfortable beds and warm water every morning - cosy, clean and well equipped kitchen - ideal location just next to Taksim (all facilities + bars and restaurants around) - absolute must : roof-top terrace from which you have a view on both sides of the Golden Horn !! In short, had a great stay and can only say positive stuff about the place ! Only drawback : no wifi IN the room

Conveniently situated next to Taksim square (although difficult to find), the hostel is extremely good value for money, really clean and with spacious rooms.

This hostel is a real value, its very thougtfuly designed. the location, the kitchen, the rooms and the beds, everything is perfect.

Had a fantastic stay here at the ArchIst Hostel. Its in a great location, right down from Taksim Square and the Hostel is immaculate! The beds were some of the comfiest I've ever slept in! The staff were very helpful and have a very good command of English. The Hostel itself is inside an old building, but has been renovated with a very modern and relaxed atmosphere. The hostel is quite hard to find however, with no signs just their logo on the front door. But once you find it its all good!
