Returned back to the Archi Rossi about 8 years since the last time. Rooms updated but the great Graffiti wall and painted walls in the common areas remain. Wifi available throughout which while good, has wreaaked (at least on my stay) what was a great common area. Place was a little subdued when I was there, unlike last time where this place was great fun at night. Hope it was just the other people that were there this time. Would go back again.

We were in a room with two guys from Israel and two girls from the US. The guys were extremely impolite. They would bring other friends from their country to our room in the middle of the night and start talking loudly and smoke. The worst part is that the hostel people would not do anything about it. Also, upon our arrival, we were promised free breakfast and diner. However, at night, no free diner was provided. Overall, we had a very poor experience at this hostel.

This is my second time staying at Archi Rossi, and again--it was amazing! It's one of the coolest hostels in Europe. Reading the hall of signatures is fun! So secure, they check everyone at the front desk for their room keys. The location is PERFECT, near everything. The staff is great--very professional. This hostel is all around fun. Free tours offered, many tips for Florence to be given. The best part, it's SO clean!

Very nice hostel, it looks like a hotel actually and I can say it's a LOT better than the average hostels in Florence! Location is EXCELLENT, only two blocks away from Santa Maria Novella Station. Besides it, the hostel is close to the main attractions in Florence. The rooms are big and I had bathroom with shower in my room, the only problem was that every time one took a shower the floor was wet. But we can choose from pizza to pasta free every night and breakfast is amazing! I recommend it!

I had a great time at Archi Rossi. The other guests were very friendly and nice; the staff was helpful and attentive. The free breakfast was tasty, as was the free dinner (a November special). I stayed in a 9-person suite that had tons of room. The bathroom set-up was a bit strange--1 bathroom for 9 girls--but there were other bathrooms on the floor. The hostel is centrally located and has lots of character. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

The hostel is too expensive for what you get out of it. It's just like any other hostel I have had across Europe for way cheaper. Also the receptionist (all of them) are just rude. When you ask them a question they talk to you like they are mad and don't care about you. Only GREAT thing is the location.

Great hostel, extremely spacious. It has a lot to offer with it's location, rooms, dining options and computers. I'd definitely stay here again. Everything you needed was conveniently located at the hostel. The ensuite rooms are best and dinner is free nightly. The beds are comfortable and my room had a computer in the room (not sure if they all do) but that is a definite plus!

Excellent location. Wifi good, computer in the room didn't work. Free breakfast was excellent and the free dinner went down well too. Free walking tour pretty good as well. Staff a bit short with you, there was one lady I liked but the rest seemed all too busy for me. The bathroom was not cleaned everyday.

This is my second time in this hostel. I would recommend it to everybody. First time experience was wonderful, atmosphere was good. It's the same for my second stay. This stay I was staying in a private bed room with bath. They even have new all-in-one computers (windows 7) in every room. I was so impressed with their facilities. To me it was more like a hotel than a hostel, and I suspect that the rooms were actually hotel rooms before. Breakfast and dinner are of good value.

Great location, literally less than 10mins walk from main train station. They provided a hot breakfast that was average, not fantastic but better than cornflakes. The walking tour was good to get to know the city and the staff were pretty nice. i would stay here again
