Really close to SMN train station so easy to get to and take day trips. Free breakfast was good choices and cooked to order so hot, even free dinner in nov every night bar Saturday so really helps with costs. Nice courtyards and areas with free WIFI even in rooms. Stayed in 5 bed female dorm with power plugs &own light, ensuite. Only small negative was need bath mat or floor cloth after some people showering, though asked and given something to dry floor. Most staff really helpful so thanks :)

The location is great, only 5 minutes from the main train station, st maria novella. Other sights also reachable by foot. The room and the bathroom are clean, there is locker with padlock and key, the bed is comfortable. The internet is free and there is also one computer inside the room. The price include breakfast which is so sufficient. There is only one thing which I think can be improved, is the staff and reception, it would be great if they are nicer and give a bit of smile and enthusiasm

Archi Rossi has pretty much everything you could need during your stay. I really liked the free internet access, with lots of computers available, as well as the large lockers and free dinner and breakfast. It felt a bit like a high school summer camp with the dining hall and large dorm rooms setup, but it's a great place to stay for the budget traveler!

Very clean and a decent breakfast. Also, you have to show your key to the door guy when you come in so you feel pretty safe.

i loved it, definitely the best hostel i've stayed at, the wifi was free and also the use of the computers, they had a really good breakfast and not just toast and sugarless cereal as the rest, they had lockers inside the rooms and you don't have to take your own lock as usual, i liked the walking tour ... everything was perfect... thank you so much

A very big hostel close to the train station. Has a restaurant that serves cheap food. Found staff to be a bit rude. Did not like the graffiti in the hallways.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms themselves were fine, though set up like a college dormitory room. It was a bonus that the WiFi was free, but the computers often had trouble connecting to the internet. I found the staff to be a bit brusque, and was annoyed to discover upon my arrival that "24 Hour Reception" did not translate to "No Curfew." The breakfast selection was great, though, and the location is certainly good.

Archi Rossi was the best hostel we've stayed in. It was in a great location - 2 minutes from the train station and 2 minutes from the center of the town. The rooms were very clean and big and it was almost like we were staying in a hotel instead of a hostel. We had a private room with our own bathroom and everything was very clean and spacious. The wireless internet was a little slow but there was a computer to use in the room that worked a lot better and it was free. Breakfast was the best part

We, myself and my two daughters, were very pleased with our stay. It was very basic, but very reasonably priced, with so many extras, including breakfast. The most important aspects for us were the cleanliness, the on suite bathroom, the central location and last but not least the helpfulness of the staff. I will certainly recommend Archi Rossi to all my friends. We had a brilliant time in Florence, which was partly due to our stay with Archi Rossi Hostel. Thank you, Ira Ward

This hostel has been my favorite yet. Great price, affordable water and food at front desk, comfortable beds and spacious rooms, amazing breakfast, included tour, and its right in the center of the city and a block away from the train station. There were lockers inside our room which was nice so I didn't have to worry about my things getting stolen. And the staff were all really nice and helpful. I went with 6 of my girlfriends, we loved it!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The breakfast for free is really great and the cafe in house makes a great dinner for really cheap! The rooms are clean and the staff was helpful when asking for directions, help with something, or just to say hello! The wireless was spotty at times but that is my only complaint!

The hostel is like a high-school dormitory. You come to get the key, the strictly breakfast menu, an internet password that has to sign-in every time and expired after 24 hours. Elevator is going only floor 0 and 1. The room is clean enough to stay, but shared bathrooms are very bad. The good things of this hostel are the location and security. It's located very closed to Central Station, you can easily drop your bags and walk to Duomo and around Florence.

BED BUGS!!! stayed 5 nights, after 2 nights starting to get welts on my neck, collar bones, and shoulder. thought it was just skin allergy, but got more bites after 3rd and 4th nights. just found out some other girls got multiple bites in private rooms in another building as well. Washroom is pretty disgusting and unfriendly staff. BUT good location, good breakfast and good free walking tours. SO. if you bring your own sleep sack and get up super early for showers, then it's OK.

I stayed on the 1st floor, back hallway and it was very noisy as we could hear the doors of the other dorm rooms being opened and closed all morning and night as well.

Lots of computers and internet, rooms are large and lots of wash rooms, the common area is green and nice little oasis in the middle of the city. Staff doesnt want you in the common areas past midnight but this hostel was by far our best through europe

omg! we love love love this hostel. if ever we return to florence we'll definitely come back to it. the location is good, really near to the train station and everything's within walking distance. the room and toilet are clean (at least for our 3-bed-room). and never before we had free breakfast that's freshly made in any of our hostels experiences. thumbs up! and the arts all over the hostel are a bonus. definitely a place to stay when in florence.

Great breakfast concept :-) One suggestion would be to switch one of the many options incl. egg for toast with marmelade and cheese - just a thought... Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and your clean rooms and options to go online etc. We would come again.

the location is good, near to train station and can be reached within 10 mins. And the breakfast is the best, compare to many hostels in europe. They have different choices with eggs, breads and chesse..and chocolate,milk,coffee...It's all included. And there's a computer in every room, it's really great and convenient, especially for those travellers who haven't bring their notebook.
