i stayed in hostels many times and this was my the worste experience. Reception is opened until 6 p.m. - I wrote to them that we have late flight and we will be between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. They couldn't charge my card because as they said there was no money and cancelled this booking and we left without accomodation. It's funnny because when we finally found some hotel to stay I used this card for payment and I paid more than for this hostel. Very unfriendly place.

It's an a great location in the old town buy its very small and very bland which from what we've seen is pretty typical for Scandinavian hostels. It cost us about $150 US for a private room (shared bathroom) which is ridiculous for what you get. Sheets and towels cost extra, crappy pillows ( I mean actually laughed when I saw them) and zero atmosphere. No communal areas or anything, just a small hallway and rooms coming off it. Rip off.

We had a great stay in Archipelago. The staff was really helpful. The room and lavatories were clean. It was a bit noisy at night but I guess it is the downside of staying right in the center on the old town. Overall, we were really satisfied. Thanks Archipelago!

Great locality of a hostel in a middle of the old town, close to most of attractions in Stockholm and also close to the central station. Quiet atmosphere, well equipped kitchen, small but clean bathroom.

At our arrival we received the keys (as we were already informed) into an envelope near the main door, unfortunately if you need help hope they answer the emergency number + reception schedule is very loose. Honestly the Hostel is very clean and well organized even if nobody really cares about customers needs, we stayed 5 nights and 3 times we showered with cold water, informed reception Team but nothing changed! It worths the money you spend but hope you will not need any support!!!!!

My wife and I had a private room (#11), so we didn't have to deal with anyone else in our room, but we were awakened a few times as people arrived home and got ready for bed. Fantastic staff (did not get her name, but she is from Romania) & location, and the hostel itself was very clean and convenient. Even though we arrived quite late, the pin codes and our room keys were all waiting exactly as we had been told they would be.

extremely helpful staff .One staff staff member gave me a loan of her own phone charger and said to hold it overnight . Another member of staff charger went the extra mile in seeking out directions for us.

Great location, right next to an Irish bar (not too noisy). Pillows in the room were ridiculously small had to pump up with towels and clothes to make comfy bar that OK. Staff were nice a bit blunt sometimes in directions but could have been a language thing.

Very nice place to stay for a few nights. But - and this is a big but - why isn't there any sort of filling in the pillows?

The hostel has a really good location, couple of seconds from the German Church in the Gamla Stan. Södermalm is also in walking distance. If you are interested in photography, Fotografiska is 10 min by walking. We were really satisfied with the hostel. The toilets and the bathroom was clean and had a nice design, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean. There was also free wi-fi included in the price.

Location was fantastic and also the kitchen and the bathroom. Unfortunately not all stuffmember were that nice, what you are expecting from a person who works at a reception. And they have no idea how to react if some one thinks that they have bedbucks in the room. That wasn't OK at all!!!!!!!

Very nice and clean Hostel. Great Location. Very friendly and helpful Staff. Lockers in room. No toaster or oven available, so take that into consideration before buying a frozen pizza for example ;)

The rooms were very cramped and small. The shower facilities weren't very good, there was no where to put your clothes without them getting wet and the shower literally only ran for 2 secs at a time so it took forever to shower as you spent forever pressing a button! The kitchen was also tiny and there wasn't a common room or something similar to relax in, not that I found anyway. That being said, the 2 staff members I spoke to were very friendly and helpful and the location was also very good.

A medium backpacker for a ok price, Linen not included thought (wich is not written on the website!). There is no living room, just a small kitchen with a TV. If I have to come back in Stockholm, I would definitely try something else.

Very nice place, and nice Staff. I will most likely take that place into consideration the next time I will pop by in Stockholm.

A really good hostel. Amazing location, and lovely staff. My major annoyances were the 5 second timers on the showers (so freaking annoying!) And the squeaky metal bunks. That said the mattresses were incredibly comfortable. Make sure you check out before 11am though, you will get told to hurry up! I ended up staying here again a few days later. Right in the old town, close to everything you want to see and a subway stop.
