very good hostel in Palermo .... the place is not that great but if you think that you are there only to sleep there may be fine ...... No TV ... there is no breakfast ... there is a room with password only .... internet .... I repeat, however, the location is very good you are on the Ramblas

My stay in this hostel was really good. I can't find a defect, all worked in perfect way and the crew was at my disposal, kind and prepared! Great Hostel, when I will come back to Barcelona I will surely book there again!

If you are looking for a 5 star, quiet hostel you shouldn't come here. its a youth hostal in the heart of the ramblas so the atmosphere is great if you are looking to meet young people all over the world. the staff was very helpful, nice and friendly. there are only 2 bathrooms with limited showers, and toilets but that was never a problem.

The price is OK and the location in the historic area is great, just within meters from La Rambla and the Liceu metro station. It'clean and you can forget the lack of character with what come first.

With so many hostels in Barca, I wouldn't recommend this one. Ridiculous amounts of noise from the street plus renovations from 8am which weren't mentioned anywhere online or at the hostel and not a great place for meeting other people / hanging out - no alcohol allowed in the hostel. Also charge for sheets and blanket. Not bad but not great.

One cockroach, but the room was clean so don´t worry it is clean. The hotel room was quiet due to the fact that it was located in the back of the house. There was a small bar, but it closes latest at midnight. church bells start to ring at nine o´clock. So if you want to see something from Barcelona day and night it isn´t a problem. The furniture wasn´t the youngest but functionally. The room was cleaned every day, also everyday there were new towels. The shower had always warm water!! a lot!!!

The staff speak no english. We were in the private rooms which are down the street from the main hostel so I dont know what the dorms were like but that building had no atmosphere, so if you want to meet people book a dorm. The stairs are really narrow and theres no lift so its very hard to carry a suitcase up to the 3rd floor. But it is in an excellent location right beside les rambles so if just staying for a few days its very convenient.

When we first arrive at the hostel the front desk staff was rude and unfriendly. The breakfast is not impressive The locker are tiny, they should inform people that their luggage cannot be locked because the lockers could only fit a small back pack or a few articles of clothing

It is very misleading that Arco Youth Hostel and the private rooms in Palermo hotel are listed under the same heading. If you want to book a private room make sure you understand the conditions: the private rooms ARE NOT IN THE HOSTEL but in Palermo hotel, in another street, and there's no breakfast, no kitchen use, etc, basically none of the things listed in the main description of Arco Hostel holds. Palermo hotel is just a sad little hotel, with no "hostel feeling" and with rather high prices.

This hostel was in a good location, although down a side street. Was very central to the old town. Room were noisy with backstreet traffic, but ok. Bathrooms were not always the cleanest but acceptable. Breakfast offered left much to be desired. But the hostel participated in a dinner program for one euro fifty at the local pub. Would stay again for this reason alone but not for much more.

The location of the hostel is excellent and it was very clean. However, there was a strong smell of dampness/mould in the bathroom, I think it came from a drain in the floor. Another minor problem was that the staircases are very narrow, so getting up and down them with a suitcase was a bit tricky.

This hostel is situated in the centre, near the famous street Ramblas, is there good night life, the beach is 25 minutes far by walking. At nights is better don´t go to the hostel alone. The rooms are clean and we were 8 people in the room, but it was ok, I made many friends there. The kitchen and living room is nice, you can cook there, breakfast was good also but I prefer to buy own bread, because there had biscuit. If I go to barcelona I will choose this hostel again.
