Very good hostel, well located and the Staff is awesome ! The room that I stayed was very good, but could be better, on the open area it could be cleaned and reformed so it can be a space that the guests can enjoy. By the time we went it was filled with old, pilled stuff taped with a curtin and we couldn´t enjoy it like we should.

Many problems, room noisily, bath really really dirty, the light went out, and the guy that work at night was excessively rude!!!! The only good things is the location and the guy during the morning that is a kind person.

Nice hostel at the Ramblas, good location with all the facilities near the hostel. Most of the attractions are walking distance and for the ones that are not you can get the subway that is really close. Not a party place. There are lockers in the rooms but lack of plugs to charge electronic equipment. Staff is nice. Would stay there again.

Very well-located hostel, right near the Rambla and a metro station. The hostel is cosy and the 8 bed-bedroom was spacious. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Nice hostel and nice staff. I strongly recommend it! The breakfast is poor so I suggest to get your breakfast outside. I spent there only one weekend so I didn't use the kitchen at all. I slept in a 14 mixed room. Every person has a box where to leave his belongings (under key). Sheet are not included (the cost is 2.50euro) and I discover it only when I arrive there. I went in hostels in other cities in Europe and Spain and this is the first time I pay for sheet and cover. Good hostel

Stayed in a double-bed room located in a different building. Super friendly staff, clean and neat rooms, everything the page says is there. Old building in a narrow alley in the very center of the city, i don\'t think you can get closer to the center than this. This comes with ups and downs: great atmosphere and picturesque Cathedral area on the one hand, hookers and drug dealers outside the hostel on the other. Watch your private parts when you\'re out for a smoke. Would probably come again.

Best Location, relatively cheap poor kitchen equipment, not much "Hostel Spirit", not much interaction, no bar or organized activities like in those big hostels

really good trip, clean hostel, maybe a bit spartan :) Staff really nice. Unfortunately walls are too thin and lots of noise incoming from other rooms/outside.

Only one thing created dissatisfation, the Breakfast because there was too few food and the fruit (only apples) was not so fresh. Everything else was very nice at Arco Youth Hostel A&A. Thanks for all.

Bathrooms needed to be cleaned more. You pay for what you get. Location was great.

The hostel is very well located, but in comparison with the hostels in Valencia and Madrid, for which I paid less, it is a highly overrated hostel. Interesting that you pay more for a single room, but then breakfast is not included - doesn't make sense. Also the WiFi-signal is very bad on the third floor of Palermo. I am sure there are better hostels available in Barcelona.

This was a pretty good hostel. Clean, friendly and helpful staff. The walk to the beach is only about 20-30 minutes so it is in a pretty good location. Advertised in the hostel is a street style walking tour. So cool! I definitely recommend it if you are into street-art or just want to see a different side of Barcelona. The tour meets every day (except for Monday) at 3pm at the Arc de Triomph. :)

It was really nice, the older guy that stay in the reception is the most prestative person ever (i think he is the owner), he helped a lot me and all the guest, but had a guy from south america (i think ecuador) he wasnt that nice, wasnt really motivate to work or to help us! In the rooms dont have many plugs to charge your eletronics! The bathrooms are very clean!

The location is the best thing about this hostel. It's in the middle of the most popular place. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The beddings were nice and clean (you have to pay 2.50 for the blanket, tho). However, the toilets were quite dirty (the shower is good). Regarding the rooms, the 4-mixed room is quite small and there is no lock on the door, so the room is always open (they have free lockers inside). It's cheap thinking about location. I would recommend for a short stay.

ARCO is a very nice hostel. Even though there are some building activities going on outside the hostel (to make the whole building more functional), once you get into it there is the most welcoming atmosphere. The people at the reception are ever so helpful and friendly )Martin, Pablo, Hector) and will make thinks easier for you. Even help you go down with a heavy case, to tell the least! I will certainly go back in case I arrive again in this cheerful town of Barcelona. Thanks.

BREAKFAST WAS NOT INCLUDED! It is not fair to claim on hostelworld.com that it is. They offer a breakfast for 4€ in a next-door cafe. It was very cold. Seems like hostels in southern countries just don't want to recognize the fact, that it still can be cold several months a year, even if you can see an orange tree growing outside the window. Please, invest in doors' and windows' isolation and in heating!

Thank you for housing my friend and I. Though, it would have been nice if the lockers were a little bit bigger and for free wifi on the computers. But the staff was helpful and helped solve any problems that we had, especially, Hector .
