Arenaa Mountbatten Hotel Reviews

This hotel had its ups and downs. Bookings through hostel world had to be confirmed through my own email account. And payment was a hassle as they had no idea what room I had booked.thr first night they upgraded us to a room that was dirty and unimpressive. The bathroom was still wet and the towels were dirty. The second room was cleaner and nicer. Hotel management was unorganized. Staff however, was quite helpful. Location was ok. Pretty close to Chinatown and very close to the airport shuttl

It's a very nice hostel, particularly the decor. We did have problems checking in though. As we use wi fi for the most part we had no print off of the booking confirmation. Reception took an age to find our reservation, and it wasn't until I went on line and showed the confirmation that they believed that I had one. I then went to pay, but they tried to charge 100% of the booking cost plus 16%, a 6% govt tax plus a 10% service charge. It would be better if they advertised the net cost!

Location are great, just next to Petaling Street. Got the wifi access password at the lobby counter, two hrs each day since u login. It is very good that there are two sockets and lamp for each bed. Bed is very comfortable to sleep well. Toilet and shower room are very clean but beware of the water comes out to form a river in the room when you enjoy your shower-time. Staff at counter are nice. The only thing is that there is 16% government tax we have to pay while check in.
