The location of the hostel is great, just 10 minutes away from the Royal Mile. The rooms were tidy and the bath was clean. I felt very welcomed and would definitely stay their again.

Very clean hostel, with a very cute atmosphere. Located in Argyle place, at 5 minutes from a lovely park (Meadows Park), and 10 minutes from Grassmarket. I really enjoyed the stay, especially because it was really clean.

What a fantastic little hostel. My friend and I stayed here just the one night, we found the location perfect being situated between the centre of town and the university kings buildings. There's a little supermarket and a takeaway restaurant opposite the building so that was really handy. The dorms were comfortable and quiet, free access to WiFi was incredibly handy. There's a really nice kitchen - we enjoyed the free tea and coffee! Also lovely lounge/conservatory. really good value for money!

Very nice location. No free parking space. You need to park half a mile from hostel for free. They have lots of facilities . I was enjoy to stay there.

The staffs are friendly. The location is wonderful. it's just next to a park and only take 15 minutes walk to arrive central Edinburgh. But the to room is small and there is not sufficient space to put our luggage.

Great location within walking distance of Old Edinburgh. 3 bed room was really small and floor creaked badly making it difficult to move about without disturbing others. No real clean.

great hostel, I booked private dorm, lovely, very clean, very chilled out, staff mostly were excellent, pity about some grumpy folks on reception when i returned to collect my bagage, left me with an bad taste of what was otherwise a wonderfull stay. I recommend. dont go here to party or make friends for further travels, its a down-time chill out hostel!

All good here, nice old building with a spacious common room, 2 X self-catering kitchens and a porch area at the back. There are lockers in the rooms. 24 hour access and it's in a nice part of town, approx 15 mins walk from centre. Only moan is the poor internet access, but I's stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I love this hostel, everyday I walk through a beautiful park to the city center which is just about 10~15 mins on foot. The staff here is nice and helpful. Both room and bathroom are clean and tidy.

Beautiful hostel! I very much enjoyed the character of the hostel and our roommates were very kind and courteous. I found the staff to be less than helpful however. They would give the bare minimum of information, and did not seem excited to have people staying or visiting Edinburgh, not very friendly or personable. I would like to see more information posted or in handouts if the staff is uneducated about the area. I would stay here again, and just do more research myself next time.
