Cute little hostel. Cafe attached doing cheap sandwiches. We stayed in the 12 bed dorm - just a massive open room (but like a hospital ward!). Only 2 others staying there though. Bit noisy at night if dogs and cats run on the roof (feels like an earthquake!) but comfy beds so it made up for it. Hot showers too! Brekkie was the basic eggs or cereal with a cuppa. The best hostel you'll get in Arica on a budget!!!

Really awesome staff who helped us when we arrived with food poisoning. Oddly though, this felt more like a restaurant with rooms as there are no hostel staff besides the mornings, just restaurant employees. The room was nice, although like the rest of the hostel was poorly lit. The bathrooms and kitchen were disgusting. Men's bathroom has no hot water or shower curtains and was always full of cockroaches amongst broken tile. This place has potential to improve, but it doesn't seem to be a goal.

Stayed in double room for 4 nights with private bathroom. Nice room but poor service and thought it overpriced. Requested room cleaned and towels refreshed but never was. Bathroom bin never emptied. Asked a 2nd time, but again nothing. Hostel advertises credit card, but this was mysteriously broken when checking out. Day of departure, they assured taxi could be arranged, but when leaving had to arrange myself. Would avoid this hostel, there are more reasonably priced and better located options.

Very unique..open air 12 bed dorm with your own little spot. Nice bed w electric outlet and light. 10 min walk to port and all local restaurant and shops also. Not touristy. Wal to the ram lady in 10 min and the to all 3 beaches. No need for any buses.the reception area is also Avery nice local cafe where you enjoy your free breakfast but also it's a upscale spot for the locals..from the bus station appx 2500 peso/30 min walk appx. Great staff and owner is very sweet. She is a pro who cares....

Nice hostel, but severely lacking atmosphere. The dorm is great - big and airy and normal beds, not bunk beds. There is a bar, but for the 4 nights I was there, it was never open. There was also no music in the common area so there was zero atmosphere. But still probably the best option in Arica.

I was only here one night to break up the journey to San Pedro from Peru. Overall, a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is super chill & helpful. There is a very basic free breakfast and they will keep your bags for the day if you have a late bus. The dorm is uniquely organized with no bunk beds so everyone gets a bottom bunk with an outlet, reading light, & lockers. Great hostal and even better price compared to other places in town.

We stayed for two nights at this hostel. Very friendly staff, cheap laundry service and handy for the town centre. Decent breakfasts too, standard scrambled egg/tea or coffee combo that you get in most hostels. Nice, airy communal area with a bar, although this was closed, presumably because it was out of surf season.
