Really nice hostel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Good place to relax, and it´s right next to the beach. Recommended.

Nice hostel, fantastic staff, very convenient for the bus station. Arica off-season, however, is very quiet and desolate - which I think probably unfairly impacted the atmosphere at the hostel.

I found Jenny and Nicholas to be awesome hosts, they went out of there way to make sure my stay was great , an extra bonus was in the purchase of some rolling tobacco which I had not been able to find in over 3 weeks in Chile. Highly recomend to stay ...

Jenny is a nice lady and her friend yoyo does a excellent surf class. The hostel itself is close to the bus and only 1 mins from the beach. Breakfast should be little more than 2 piece of bread. Jenney needs a better cleaning lady I think. Jenny let me check in early which is really nice after over night bus. Hostel was average, neighborhood is not quiet. But I had a blast stay there with yoyo and other backpackers.

Nice hostel. I arrived at 7am, most hostels make you wait till check in time to get to you room, but here I was able to go straight to bed, brilliant as I was shattered. French owner is really nice and helpful. Location by the beach is excellent.

Jenny is lovely. The hostel is really clean and the kitchen is better than average. Breakfast was ok. The location is by the beach but a 15mims walk into town. We got a cheap taxi back at night. The wifi is good and we enjoyed our stay

Nice hostel and the owned was really friendly. 20 minute walk to centre but the hostel is around the corner from restaurants and a great Market where you can buy pretty much anything, food wise. Could do with a fan in the private double as it gets too hot and you do not want to open the window as it faces the courtyard which gets noisy from people gathering outside.

GREAT Hostel, clean, and very nice inside. Big kitchen and common area. Nice and cozy atmosphere, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. It feels like your at home. The 15mins walk from the city centre is not a problem at all, whereas there's a big market 2 mins away and bus station 5mins. It is a very calm location, no noise at night, and chilling on the roof is a must when sunset comes. Probably the Best you could find in Arica! :)

This hostel was okay, but we didn't feel welcome by the staff...at the end of our stay when we went to pay, they charged us more (only a little bit) for the room than the 'balance due' said on hostelworld. when we tried to explain i felt the staff were condescending and would not listen- they said hostelworld had made an error (they hadn't).anyways we paid the extra because it just wasn't worth the argument..left on a sour note.was a shame because we met some lovely travellers there.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good location downtown. Its not really a party hostel if that is what you are looking for, but its a beautiful old building, and decorated classic Valparaiso style. I definitely recommend to anyone looking to relax by the beach or get to know Valpo, one of the best cities in the world.

Nice owners but I didn't care for this hostel much. It's basically a house where the owners rent out the spare rooms. It feels more like their house instead of a communal hostel. The atmosphere is social but it's hard to tell who are the guests and who are the invited friends of the owners. Adding lockers would be nice. This place is 5 minute walk to the beach but about 15 minute walk to downtown. It's a bit more expensive than I think it's worth but it is a decent place if you have no options.

Arica Unite is the kind of place where they welcome you with a big smile and a cofee! This anounce a nice stay in this place! I stayed there 3 nights, really nice people coming to this place we spent nice moment together. Jenny the owner of the hostel respond really fast to the email, and give good advises, she really cares about the people coming in the hostel. I recomand this really friendly place.

A good place to chill and hangout after the long bus ride from Lima. Jenny is very helpful and does a great job on her own.

Really nice hostel the highlight was the owner Jenny who couldn't do enough to help it may be lacking slightly in facilities and maybe a bit of a trek to the town but this is a lovely hostal which represents good value for money and has a good atmosphere with a warm homely feeling.
