Owners friendly and helpful and can communicate in Spanish, French and broken English. Location great for bus terminal and local market but about 20 minute walk to town centre. Nice atmosphere in hostel, good place to chat to other travelers, mostly good wifi. Good value compared to others. Small touches could make what is good great, eg some furniture in room apart from bed like bin, chair etc soap, mirror and shower head holders upstairs but these may come as building progresses.

The hostel is close to bus terminal and 15-20 mins walk to downtown arica. The owner is nice and considerate. The kitchen and common room was nice place to meet ppl. The breakfast is simple. It would be better if ppl can use the kitchen in the morning for better breakfast on their own. The dorm room we stayed was nice too. Hot shower works fine as long as its a sunny day. At night ppl usually hang out. So it could be a little noise if you prefer quiet. Overall nice hostel with good ppl.

The managers super nice!! The room I was in was pretty loud because it was next to the squeaky staircase and next to the kitchen so there wasn't much sleeping in after people started getting up. Also the window was next to where a lot of people smoked so it annoying when it wafted in.

Great hostel if you are staying in arica for bus transfers as it is a short walk to both the national and international bus stations and very close to the beach.

The French couple who owned the place was very helpful, nice people who were very open and welcoming. Good place for people who just want to go and relax and have a good time. Definitely recommend.

After Santiago we really enjoyed our stay at Arica Unite,. The staff (Jenny and Nico) was very nice as well as most of the guests. The upper part of the hostel was under construction when we where there, but if it's finished it will be an extra plus for the hostel as it gives you a very nice view to the pacific ocean.

It was a very pleasant stay. The owner is just lovely and very helpful. The hostel itself is very well cared and has good taste in decoration. Showers are excellent and it is located between the city center (about 15 min walk), it's just in front of Chinchorro Beach and also very close to the Bus Terminal. The hospitality here was the best in all my trip visit the North of Chile.

Home feel hostel with very hospitality owner Jenny. She is fantastic and nice. When she is in the hostel, it's full of joy and laugh. She shared with very helpful and detail information about Airca, e.g. where to eat, what to see. She also shared seafood with me ! We did enjoy the stay there and highly recommend those who want to have a home-feel hostel, go go go..... It just located next to the beautiful beach !

Clean hostel but under construction. Showers and toilets were always available. It wasn't a party hostel but it had a great atmosphere. Jenny has beautiful personality!! It was about a 15 minute walk into the centre of town but right near the beach.

What a great hostel, like a home. Comfortable beds with 2 pillows, comforter! Quiet - a block from the beach, the market - loved it & the owners are excellent. Going back there on my way back to Argentina - definitely stay there!

Really enjoyed staying at this hostel. Jenny is really friendly and it feels more like staying at a friends house than anything. She will help you with anything you want and advise you where she can. The hostel is in a great location. 1 minute walk from the beach and about 15 minutes from the centre of the city. This is nice because it´s a lot quiter and chilled out. There is also a market and a group of shops just 2 minutes walk away too. Great location. Definitely the place to stay in Arica.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennys place...It felt more like being flatsharing with a friend, than being a stranger in a hostel...She was so flexible and ready to help with everything (organizing the car-hiring, advising us about tours to Lauca, providing maps and stuff)...The closeness to the bus terminal was convenient too...Thanks again! Bisou*

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Very cosy place, feel like being at home. Not a party hostel.
