I like here for the tea and coffee that's always free in the kitchen - it feels nice and homely good atmosphere. We have fire alarm drill test on 2nd day I am here, it was at about half past 10 o'clock , same thing happen back in March when I here with lover we all had to go out to car-park. I want to stay in bed.

The Armagh Youth Hostel is the perfect place for anyone travelling in this part of Ireland. It is welcoming, clean and efficiently run. It is full of personality and the ideal place to base oneself in Armagh. The staff are the best one could wish for.

Hi, Originally booked in for one night which we quickly realised was not enough so we changed our plans and revisited on the way back from the South of Ireland. Staff very efficient and friendly. Room was excellent! Very spacious kitchen with excellent dining area overlooking playing fields yet just a short walk to the city centre. Armagh was also a gem. Ian & Hilary, Queensland

The place was full-up on the night I stayed (17/8) and some of the other people staying were dreadful bores, especially four elderly French people on big BMW motor-bikes. I will be coming back here when there's less people around - maybe the hostels should put a ceiling on the age of the guests staying? Quite cosy and more of a generous free food shelf than with other hostels. I am also liking the quiet reading lounge upstairs. Great view of the Cathedral.
