This is the second time I stayed at Arom D. The location is amazing. Right next to Tha Tien Pier, the grand palace, wat pho and the flower market. Tho compared to the first time. the floor is bit dusty and some of the wallpaper seems to pill off, the beds are still very comfortable, the bath rooms are very clean. As some of the problems mentioned by earlier guests (shower curtain in shared bath is too short) have all been solved (no it is a full length door), we'll definitely stay here again.

Stayed in "Coral" room. Each bed had personal light which is SO nice in a hostel setting. Most comfortable bed I slept on in Thailand, not most comfortable bed ever though! Hand soap in the bathroom would have been nice. Area maps were not available from the front desk. Also hostelworld.com listing says breakfast included, but in person not true! Fix your listing or follow through and include breakfast!
Firstly this hostel is in a great location, literally a stones throw from Wat Po - reclining buddah. I found it easy to reach from the airport following their public transport instructions. And secondly it is stylish and clean and has 2 computers/internet to use for free. On the negative side, the staff were of very little help, I was lucky that they had a second hand map on reception but they couldn't help with any sights or travel information whatsoever. I left some maps in the comp room.
