The staff was quite cold but they did everything in a timely manner. When I went down to reception, the person would be on the computer listening to music and would look annoyed when I walked up to the desk. There was little opportunity to meet other people in the hostel besides those you are roomed with. The hostel was located up quite a hill, but close to a lot of great sights. The hostel was very clean and towel was included which is nice.

This hostel is very very close to the castle, and proves to be close to most of the sight seeing and inner beauty of Prague. The padlock provided was a nice feature and the set up of rooms allowed for good connections with other hostel-stayers. I would recommend more access to outlets in the rooms, especially in regards to those staying on top-bunks. While i did not make use of the laundry service, i think that it was an excellent feature that sets Arpacay apart from other hostels.

This is one of the best backpackers I've stayed at. Rooms are huge and beautiful. Staff were friendly, although they seemed understaffed with only one reception staff on at a time. Breakfast was great in the kitchen area. Location is great. You can hear doors slamming and people walking around in the room above but that's normal. Would definitely recommend this hostel, it's beautiful.

The location is perfect. It's up a hill, but quite close to all the major sights. The staff were also very helpful and very friendly.

Good location, very clean facilities, good breakfast at a very reasonable price.

Washrooms and showers very clean and never had to line up. Kitchen available for use (except for breakfast time). Great wifi. Big storage bunks under the beds and even lend you padlocks. Right at the bottom of the prague castle. 20 min walk to old town, but everything was within walking distance. Quick public transport to/from train/bus stations.

Located 5min from Castle complex and 15min from town square by walking. Kitchen is great. 1 toilet and 1 shower (separated) could be frusturating if room (8person plus 4 in attic) was full. Tip: dont eat on that street- its $$ (the beer too) and bad. I would stay here again

Placed in Nerudova street is very central and close to both Castle and Charles Bridge. I only slept there so I really can't tell about the athmosphere, but is good value for money and the staff is very friendly and helpul. I had a wrong reservation and the girl at the desk allowed me to use the wifi and the storage while waiting for a bed to be free!

In spite of being quite overcrowded, it's good in relation quality- price. The best in this hostel was the breakfast, a lot of things to choose and with the possibility to repeat. It's really close to the castle but quite far for the clock, although it's not a problem.

Even though there was 14 people in my room it didn't feel that way! Lots of storage, lots of space.

One of the best hostels we stayed in! Large rooms, comfy beds, lockers under the beds, and in a lovely old building. Great location near the castle and not too far to walk to the other sights. Good atmosphere and easy to meet people. Only one toilet between 8 people but having the shower and another sink separately meant no queues. Only issue was the tiny sign outside - we actually walked past it twice without realising!
