We went to see stone roses in finsbury park, so ideal location for the event. Private room with on suite, served its purpose.

Dirty and awful! Didnt expect much for the money but certainly more than what we got!

Stayed here for a gig in Finsbury Park. It is remarkable value for money if you just want somewhere to put your head down after a night out. The communal area is great and I met lots of people. The dorms are cramped and bathrooms grubby, but it is so cheap, who cares? The bed was clean and there is free breakfast to soak up the hangover. It was 10 minutes walk from Finsbury Station and near to loads of take-aways, restaurants and pubs. I thought it was an absolute bargain for a short stay.

Used the hostel for stone roses gig at Finsbury park, would definitely use again if in that area again for either another gig or even to catch a match!

Well compared to other hostels I visited it was the best one in cleanliness! I like the space as well and its wonderful cause we get free WI Fi or for 1 pound we can borough a laptop The only two things I hated: - The showers..terrible because there's not enough water - The beds - I stay at the third floor bed..against the top roof, its to hight to climb or to sleep!

Our beds were the worst we had ever slept on in any hostel. The common area is ok but the rooms were disgusting! I understand it was a cheap hostel but I don't expect my bunk bed to be broken, have filthy linen, and have a mattress so thin that I can feel the bars poking through to my back. I was on the top bunk and I felt unsafe because it was so narrow. I left the room at 6am to try and get some sleep in the common room as I didn't have a wink of sleep all night. We lasted 1 of 2 nights.

Thank you for a wonderful stay we really appreciated all the little extra bits you did for us to make the stay special, like moving our friends into the same room as us. Thank you.

hostel is clean everywhere but people in the room left a bits of mess, 5 days after my stay the mess is still there. If not everything in the hostel is really good.

The hostel was good and really close to the stadium, also no cerfew so could come back when ever I wanted to at night. Only bad thing came across was no light bulb in the bathroom and I paid more for one in my room... So we had to pee in the dark or use the shared ones, also no window so 100% darkness. Apart from that room mates was a joy and talked most of the night but others may find that annoying so be aware

The hostel was really great. Within easy walking distance of a tube station, as well as Emirates Stadium (which turned out to be really great after going to see Green Day there). The only bad thing about the hostel was the showers. The one in the ensuite bathroom never had hardly any hot water, even when no one had been using it, and when it did have hot water it was scalding. The showers in the ladies' bathroom were much better, but you had to keep pushing the button for water every 30 seconds.

Definitely a good Hostel for its price! Easy to reach (also at night thanks to its proximity to FinsburyPark Station) and ok-friendly staff. Free lockers with a 5£ deposit. Materasses were very thin though (charachteristic shared with most Hostels I guess), and the showers were average. More precisely, the 9beds mixed ensuite's bathroom had a broken toilet seat and the shower was unusable as the water temperature was out of control, ranging from boiling to ice-cold..

Not bad.. Not good.... I would say everything here was average. The only thing I really really hated was the 3 level beds?? seriously??

Staff not very communicative. Slack security. Place could do with a repaint. Carpets to be cleaned and hoovered more regularly. Windows cannot open in dorms . Crockery is badly chipped. Toilets to be serviced more often. I wont stay there again.

The location was great. A lot of really great restaurants within walking distance as well as the tube. Really nice and helpful staff too. Although the showers were very small and difficult to work it was still a good stay for us :)

WiFi signal weak. room is hot need fan to cool down overall 65%. for a hostel is good enough worth every penny.

The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable and the curtain didn't cover the window. Could do with some storage in the private room, keeping our stuff on the floor meant that there was no floor space. But the location was good and the communal space nice

Generally awesome hostel. My friend and I stayed in a mixed room and her mobile phone was stolen from the room. It was never found but I guess the hostel couldn´t really do anything about it. The showers were the worst aspect of the whole hostel - they were really hot and if you tried to change the temperature, it would only become hotter. The shower heads were a little dodgey so the water sprayed outwards, making it hard to rinse properly - manageable for tall people, annoying for short people.
