It was a nice hostel in a great area, staff was great, but cleanliness is an issue. The bathrooms were outdated and not clean, and I had scabies from them because the sheets weren't changed. PLEASE BEWARE of the cleanliness here.

Danny Boy at front desk was wonderful. Helpful in every way. Decent location, easy walk to many tourist areas, nice free breakfast with eggs. Only negatives (minor) are road noise (avoided with closed windows), no TV (some would call this a benefit), and no AC (only important in Jan-Feb). Good use of fans and windows.

Even though it's ana Hostel, some things there don't make sense like closing the kitchen or not letting the guests bring their wine (so they can buy the hostel's wine). The kitchen is small, the stuff is old and isn't very clean.

The bathrooms needed cleaning and the doors/beds some minor maintenance.Great location.

The rooms have comfortable beds, a socket and light for everybody and are cleaned every day. The rooftop terrace is awesome with many possibilities to sit down, talk to other travellers or friends at home (the wifi still works here)... on the downside, the rooms have mold, the bathroom and shower doors often don't close or lock and there are only two sinks in the girl's bathroom, so it can get busy in the morning...

We much prefered the art factory palermo to the one in San Telmo but mostly because of the location. The staff at san telmo were great and in general everything was good. The only complaint it the kitchen was just too small for a hostel that big.

Comfortable beds, decent showers and overall a great place to stay. The staff were very helpful when the airline lost my luggage. Would definitely stay here again

Good hostel but can definitely get quite loud at night-- especially if you're in a room by the deck. Breakfast was awesome though and staff were great. bathrooms could be a bit rough sometimes but not disgusting

I liked the staff but the rooms themselves were not great, mine had no window which I did not like. The door was hard to open and close and the bathrooms were not in good shape. Overall not my favorite hostel experience.

Hola! Thank you for your review. Some rooms have no windoww because the hostel is an old house and many years ago were built this way. Besides, we like the style and decided to keep it original. Anyways, many rooms does have a window and we are always open to make a change of room, next time ask at front desk, please!

The hostel is really nice, with a great atmosphere and social life. It's really a perfect place if you want to socialise. It's also very clean. What could be improved are the bathrooms, which are reeeaaally run down.

Hi! We are sad to read this! Can you tell us why you wouldn't recommend us? Luckily most travelers do recommed the hostel, we are sorry that we do not reach your expectations :(

It's a nice hostel, really large as well (from the street, you can't imagine how massive is this place). Smart and helpful guys working at the front desk: they exchange money and book taxis to the airport. We've met some cool people at a 6-bed dorm and none at the bar (lack of vibe and weird music there). Only stayed for one night, but we would book again if we get back to San Telmo neighborhood.

Very friendly and helpful staff!! Tasty srumbled for breakfast :)! The hostal is good located in San Telmo, only a few blocks away from 'La casa rosada' and many good restaurants and bars.

We stayed for 3 nights in a 8bed dorm but enjoyed the social atmosphere more so than the facilities of the hostel itself. Pros - Very helpful staff, able to help with booking activities and bus tickets etc - Great social indoor and outdoor common areas, without being a party hostel Cons - Not enough bedding, we were cold - Showers very cramped with no dry space and small hooks - kitchen under equipped and grimy, we saw cockroaches - beer/wine over priced, and cant bring your own in

Hola! Thank you for your review. Regarding "to the not so good" things you mentioned: You were cold in October? Anyway, we have heating and also provide extra covers if needed. Please, next time ask at front desk. True that some showers are not that big, bet you are talking about one particular toilet. But there are many showers in common areas which you can use, some of them really spacious. This is embarrassing, we fumigate every 2 weeks. We'll work on it. We have a bar and sell buzz

Jorge was helpful in several occasions. The other staff members were friendly as well but I had little interaction with them.

The staff were super helpful with directions and booking further travel. Rooms were nice and plenty of bathrooms. Bar in the hostel had minimal vibe although that could have been the season . We stayed in October. Location was fantastic. Super close to the markets and subway.

Good hostel, very cute and a great value for our money. The staff was helpful and recommended lots of activities for us to do. Only problem was that a friend got bit by something (insect/bug) while sleeping..

Great, great place. Highly recommended except for occasional barking dogs of the neighbors at 05:45 in the morning. Maybe earplugs should be recommended until these people leave or are bought out. All staff members were extremely helpful with local information, scams, and tourism.

My first time in Buenos aires. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave a lot of information about he city, and recommendations on what to do. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with my stay.
