I liked this hostel! Lots of stairs to get in, and there\'s a bar on the second floor that they seem to try to push you to use, but it was a very nice hostel. I met good people and slept well. Also, cool art.

Great place! Warm, inviting atmosphere and a friendly, helpful staff. Great HOT showers. Loved the fireplace...so cozy to come back to and hang out in front of when it was chilly. Minor suggestion: hooks on the wall outside the showers would be really helpful; I noticed a lot of people putting their clothes on the floor while in the shower. I had a wonderful stay here...thanks for everything!

Its big, the rooftop bar is perfect. Ask for eggs for breakfast. Play pool at the Red Door.

Loved this hostel but a little out the way, but transport in BA is AMAZING so not a problem, would highly recommend it.

Most of the staff where unhelpful and at times rude. For example we asked about the boca stadium tour 'I don''t know', that was it! However the rooms were fine, roof terrace a real bonus and great location

I mainly swooped for this hostel due to the arty farty graffiti that is plastered over all the walls. Nice big double room for me and my gf. Breakfast was nothing fancy but who needs breakfast when you are going to be eating lion size portions of steaks every night. Very helpful staff, easy to book onward journeys through. Recommend.

Good for live bands/entertainment. Art works well to hide the dirt. Gay bloke with dark hair at reception very very helpful.

Nice staff. Really cool atmosphere, cause the walls were nicely painted and there was a rooftop bar with a terrasse which offered events like music or assado (BBQ). The kitchen was vry small and unfortunately the hostel wasn't allowed to sell beer while the bar was open, so it was very expensive! The showers and toilets weren't rly spaceous in addition our room, though it had a nice balkony and view, wasn't equipped with aircondition so it got quite hot at night. Though we enjoyed our stay!

I was expecting something more, Saulo was the only one who was really helpfull, the other were a shame, our room did not have a fan. The structure of the hostal was OK and is very well located close to two diferentes "Subte" stations

Great hostel, but most (all?) rooms don\'t have windows and fan in our room was weak. Be prepared for some HOT nights.

A nice hostel to hang out in, the beds was fair enough but ventilation could have been better. The toilets really should be improved upon. Paper ran out, they are too tiny and it just feels dirty using them.

The staff were exceptional! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Art Factory to anyone and would happily return to stay there again. My only gripe was the noisy fans in need of some maintenance.

A/C would be nice. Better locks on doors to rooms. Safe deposit needed. Guys in reception=great. Girl=attitude and played w cell phone instead of attending line w people that one of the guys had to handle alone.

The staff here are so helpful...nothing is too much troublefor them to assist you...we had a double room with private bath...all very clean and quiet...the hostal has a grest location...easy walk to plaza de Mayo and also into san Telmo for eating bars and shops

Great hostel, very helpful staff. Only major negative point: very very noisy, even after I moved from a dorm to a private room. This is due to lack of enforced 'home rules', while these very home rules are clearly told you when you arrive. Also drinks at the bar are expensive and of really poor quality for the neighorhood, so you're better off going out to next door places.

Good: lots of activities available. Eg free tango lesson Great rooftop terrace with bar. Artwork throughout hostel was ok. Location is quite good. Not too far from plaza mayo and many restaurants and bars. Don't expect cobblestones and romantic San Telmo though. Bad: female showers upstairs had no hot water mostly. Male toilets extremely small. Breakfast was only cereal, bread and drinks. Room was average only.
