We stayed at this hostel for 4 days. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and in the end we didn't even want to leave the hostel, even though Skopje is an amazing city. Of all the hostels I've been to, this is surely one of the best. Except for the great location the prices are really low, the security and the cleanliness are excellent, and the atmosphere makes you feel like at home already after some hours.

It was very nice and suprising to meet Polish in that hostel and to be treated so nice by the staff. The localisation is very good, by the river and near the bus/train station and I had no problems to get ther, although if somebody is scared of crappy buildings at night which are on the way to the hostel then he would better come there during the day :) It small but cosy hostel with very nice staff and You have there what You need. Not far from city center which is also good.

kind of hard to find the place if you don't read the cyrilic alphabet but once you get there, it's pretty cool. The staff was really helpfull and gave us good advice about the city and the transport services to get around. the breakfast is good and we even get some nice dinner, all included :)

Even though it might look a little shabby, it really is actually a very friendly and nice place to stay at. The owner's daily visiting friends might come across a little weird, but they're actually pretty cool.

The sheets and pillows were so dirthy, old and dappled. It was sickening.Inside hostel there is one bathroom and one toilet. and the washbasin was in bathroom so if someone in bathroom you cant use washbasin also. The neighbourhood was slum area that doesnt seem secure.

So close to the city center but so little noise. A window looking out over the flowing river and listening to birds singing in the morning. A staff member cooked for the guests on the night I was there, traditional Macedonian soup. It waas the best food I had tasted in a long while. I was very happy with the place.

I felt a warm welcome from the moment I entered this place. The couple who run this hostel are very good and friendly people and were always willing to help me and everyone else. I booked for one night and ended up staying for a week and I will be sure to return soon. The building is very old and there is definitely a significant ambiance about the place; they are working towards making the hostel bigger and better and I'm looking forward to seeing what they have done with the building

Very nice hostel with great people

The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is really good. The hostel could do with a bit of fixing up and some new bed linen. But it was a cheap option for one night.

The hostel is in a group of poor houses nearby the city center. The first view of the area is depressing, and it doesn´t get better when you enter into the building. Dirty, only one bathroom for a lot of people, the common area is small and old. The kitchen is small and dirty. Owners use the kitchen while you are cooking, and they don´t even clean. I would never recommend this hostel. Happy for spending only one night there.

Staff was friendly, wifi worked, breakfast was good, water was hot. Location is close to bus station but definitely rough and alarming at night. The bedroom corners were dusty/dirty and there were cobwebs on the ceiling, the kitchen area was serviceable but crowded, the bathrooms were a bit dodgy, and the linens were worn. Fine for this part of the world, but adjust your expectations. After Prague, Budapest, and Belgrade, etc., this hostel was a step down. There just aren't a lot of options.

The hostel was nice and clean with spacious sitting area to relax on the terraces on comfortable sofas. You did not feel like going out its so nice. The Hostel is convieniently close to the bus station and in a area of town next to the river. The houses are all little bungalows there on small streets. It has a lovely feel to the place and it reminds me of Mexico. The staff were great and the Lady in charge was really helpfull.

Place has gotten a little overused, but staff makes up for any defects

I didn't want to splurge on a more expensive option on a limited budget - bad decision. The staff was nice enough but the place was dingy. The mattresses & pillows had stains and when we arrived we were handed a pile of sheets to make the beds. None of the sheets fit and were thread bare as stated in other reviews. The door didn't close and the handle was broken. We couldn't shut the window and had to figure out a way to tie it shut with the curtains. My advice:Opt for the more expensive option.

Bedding and linen were dirty and hostel generally smelled. Unhelpful directions which state you should walk to the river and turn right whereas in reality you need to be one street from the river as it just looks like another run down shack on the other side. On the bright side it is very close to the station and cheap
