Well, the hostel was not that bad but the staff a bit cold and we waited 15 min the first night just to have keys and towels because the receptionist was new. The hostel is quite ugly, no window in the room (but a climatisation system at least), the lockers are quite noisy and the breakfast was ok but no so tasty. The location is good, close from the castle and the center. No idea about other hostels but this one could easily be better.
Very nice hostel. Comfortable beds (not bunks!) in spacious 5 bed dorm with full sized lockers. Bathrooms clean, showers hot and water pressure good. Staff friendly and very helpful in planning onward transport. Location walking distance to old town and a couple of nice places to eat very close by. I'd stay here again.
A great place, really great value for money.
Very nice Hostel, in the middle between the Old Town and the Castle.
Good location and good facilities. The only problem I had was that I wanted a double room and they only have twin rooms
Very clean, nice hostel, friendly staff, nice breakfast, good atmosphere.
Pleasing hostel, good beds, capacious lockers for each bed, sufficient breakfast 8:00 - 10:00.
I really liked this place. I arrived in very low season, so of course there were few travellers about and the hostel itself was quiet. The place is well situated in the old city, easily connected to the main train and bus stations. Small breakfast included which was decent given the room price. Hostel staff are were very friendly. I got chatting with a pleasant girl at the check in desk who provided me with a city map and information on transport links to Vienna. Would absolutely recommend.
Taurus Art hostel is situated centralyl at the way to the castle and close the old town. It has a very beautiful inside archtecture/design(Courtyard as a social area). big rooms, modern beds, no bunk beds, very clean, helpful staff, breakfast included. A Champions League hostel, very good value for money. Only disadvantage: no cooking (only microwave). Novy most bus--conection to Vienna/Schwechat with Blaguss bus company - is 10 minutes away. is 10 minutes of walking away.
I recommend Art Taurus hostel! Excellente the service and the place amazing.
Hi, this was my first stay in Bratislava. This hostel is very central but not too much to be disturbed by noises. The dorms are ok, but the 5 persons and the 4 persons rooms nearby the reception desk are a bit noisy - one can hear the entrance noises and voices, and the bell. Otherwise, the beds are OK, and the staff is helpful! The lockers are big enough also. Very good location, very nice. The breakfast is included but is average. Anyway, I would recommand this hostel.

The location is ok, the breakfast is ok, but you don´t have much privacy to take shower.
Great location, super comfortable bed, free breakfast really good in terms of free breakfasts, helpful staff, clean, very secure. No complaints, really enjoyed my stay!
Perfect for a good night rest, friendly staff, and interesting lay out.

The hostel was in a good location, near the hrad castle and centrum, bathrooms were great and big, the staff was good also (but there were kinda arguing which was a bit ackward), really clean hostel and they have lockers inside the rooms (there are no bunkbeds which is perfect rooms are very big), there's no much social atmosphere cause there's no real common area. You can't cook there which sucks but well, you can eat pretty cheap in the city.
This was one of the nicest, cleanest hostels I have stayed in. No bunk beds, the dorm was large with a very good locker. Security was excellent, as were the facilities (only 2 euros for a laundry load). Staff was very helpful and attentive. Location is excellent--the castle is located on the hill just behind the hostel and the city centre is about a two block walk. The euro goes a long way here and I would defintely stay here again.
We stayed one night in a room for 5, the only "bad" thing was that there was no window, but we didn't mind... The hostel is very nice, has a friendly atmosphere, the breakfast was good, and the price low! :) We would definitely choose stay there if we'd go to Bratislava again :-)

Great location, literally a 2 minute walk from the castle. The staff was very friendly and the place was spotless clean. I'd stay there again next time I'm in Bratislava. The free breakfast is also a bonus since not many hostels offer that.
Pay for a double bedroom, get a twin bedroom. Not such a big deal, but I chose this hostel specifically because it offered double bedrooms so I wasn't pleased about that. Also empty bottles and tissues under the bed as well as beard hair in the sink aren't the best welcome gift. Apart from that, the location is great and the staff friendly and helpful.
Great hostel, just outside the old town and a short walk to the castle! Loved the environment - lots of people always around.
