Great spot. Nice people. But would much prefer to spend 11 euro at a campsite in Venice than at a hostel in Bulgaria. Still worth checking out if that is the way you are heading. I've been travelling for 7 months now, and this hostel has more character than any other hostel I've been. Also the staff truly go out of their way to help and make sure you have a good time! A very bad stay! Informed when we got there that 2 singles we booked had to be a double..then that we would be collected shorty..informed by "our woman" on the way that there was no hot water..Woke up next day covered in flea bites! OUTRAGEOUS! Art Hostel must take responsibility!A very bad stay! I loved it!My stay in the Art-Hostel was the funniest and at the same time most enjoyable vacation for the year!I've been to many hostels over the last few years and this one was the best ever.The staff was very friendly and always there when needed.the hostel has UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE and is right in the center of the city.I didn't miss anything at all.I wish I could get back to Sofia's best place asap!!!I loved it!My stay in the Art-Hostel was the funniest and at the same time most enjoyable vacation for the year!I've been to many hostels over the last few years and this one was the best ever.The staff was very friendly and always there when needed.the hostel has UNIQUE ATMOSPHERE and is right in the center of the city.I didn't miss anything at all.I wish I could get back to Sofia's best place asap!!!...Close

My stay was good and I would recommend this hostel to everybody who wants to stay at a central location in Sofia. I stayed in the single room and that was great, local friends confirmed that it was actually a very good price for the room as well. However if you arrive on your own wheels the parking situation is catastrophic in central sofia. I ended up parking my motorbike under the nearby grand hotel for about 30Euro/24hrs. Parking on the street seems cheaper, security is bad though.My stay was good and I would recommend this hostel to everybody who wants to stay at a central location in Sofia.
