if price is the overriding factor this is a good place to spend one or two nights. Its reasonably clean but not pretending to be anything other than what it is - a student /backpackers crash for the night. I actually liked it, and if you are just arriving from the airport its very easy to get to from the carolina michaelis metro stop. Don't go here if youre needing soft mattresses and waiters with bow ties

Quite cheap.... bed wasn't that good and the ensuite bathrom is a joke. Nicely decorated though - lovely colours on the walls : )

Nice decoration, the double room with a balcony was very nice. The bathroom of this private double room is a bit strange ( no proper ceilling ) then you can hear and smell everything from the room. No warm water in the night but ok in th morning. Nice breakfast. Be careful, the real location of the hostel is not as shown on the map! (it's actually closer to the center). Good for the price.

The building is very old and in bad shape. In the rooms washing facilities are just a corner of your room separated by plastic walls - imagine toilet 25 cm away from your bed. You can smell, hear everything. Sewege system has been built in th house, but it seem not to work well, as it often stinks after you take shower. Rooms, just like whole building, demand total renovation from floor to the ceiling. The only bright spot is a super nice, friendly and helpful host.

Nice hostel, located fairly close to the city center and with an interesting decoration. The breakfast was good. The double room I stayed in (Marilyn Monroe / Andy Warhol) was very spacious. However, the bathroom offers no privacy, as it is located inside the room, and has no ceiling of its own. Good value for money though.

Very friendly hostel and staff. For a small price it's a very nice place to stay. It's a very clean hostel. The room was nice, the only problem was the size of WC that was too small. It had a heater that warmed the room very quickly and an excelent bedspread that was very warm also. It is a 20 minute walk to the center of Oporto.

Great value for such a low price. The hostel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful with reccomendations on where to eat and visit. It was about a 20 minute walk from the center, but only 5 minutes from a metro station, so it´s not in the center, but the walk is short and it goes along a nice pedestrian street. I would definitely stay here again.

Not much i can say about the hostel. Clean, nice and friendly staff, location is easily reached by metro (walking from center is about 20/30min). Because it wasn't really busy at the hostel we could choose a room :)
