Good location and helpful staff. Clean bathrooms and huge kitchen. The only downside is that the living room, which is the same as the reception desk room, is always really dimly lit and therefore not a very usable space.

The staff is absolutly helpful and the welcome-drink beer can be live-saver after a long-long train travel. The kitchen is well -equipped, the location is very good, 3-4 minutes from the Tolstava metro station and the Sevchenko Park. Bunk beds are waggeling a bit.

It's a great place, atmosphere and the staff was very freindly. Probably, some things needed to be repaired a little, but I had a great time there.

Amazing hostel run by amazing young lively people. Felt more like staying at friends' apartment than in a hostel. Very comfortable and staff that is always willing to help, party, and much more. Highly recommend to travellers between 18-30.

We had a great experience at this Hostel. The guy who runs it was extremely helpful, and went out of his way to accommodate us. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to everything. I would stay here again for sure the next time that I'm in Kiev.

The kitchen and the common room were enormous by hostel standards. Myhola, the manager, is a friendly guy who speaks excellent English. I don't think Art Lounge has the crazy party atmosphere of some hostels in Kyiv. Most people were in bed by midnight and it got fairly quiet. I liked that, others might not. Maybe it is different in summer; I was there in winter. The location is good. The train station is about 25-30 minutes away by foot. There is a metro station about 5-10 minutes by foot.

Although the hostel's entrance was not obvious, I was overall happy with my stay. The room was clean, the staff were helpful, and I liked the general relaxed atmosphere.

There aren't any lockers, but I never felt that my belongings were in danger of theft. One of the hostel workers kept a bunch of money on the ledge near his bed. The location is top-notch. You're a 2-5 minute walk to the closest Metro Station, and the Metro here is excellent and dirt cheap. You can also walk to most the sights. It's clean for guy standards. Mikolay is a good person and goes above and beyond to help the guests. The other staff workers seem closed off at first, but are also kind.
